{"id":40106,"date":"2025-02-15T05:52:17","date_gmt":"2025-02-15T05:52:17","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/fuel-station-clerk-2\/"},"modified":"2025-02-15T05:52:17","modified_gmt":"2025-02-15T05:52:17","slug":"fuel-station-clerk-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/fuel-station-clerk-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Fuel Station Clerk"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Summary<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a Fuel Station Clerk, you are expected to exceed customer needs and expectations by providing efficient, accurate and pleasant checkout service and shopping assistance.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience Required: 0 to 6 months<\/li>\n<li>Experience Desired: Convenience store experience\/Retail experience<\/li>\n<li>Education Desired: No high school diploma required<\/li>\n<li>Certification or Licensing Required: CPR\/First Aid\/AED Training<\/li>\n<li>Lifting Requirement: Up to 25 pounds<\/li>\n<li>Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Job Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain safety as the top priority in all aspects of your work, for your Team Members, customers and products.<\/li>\n<li>Ring up customers\u2019 orders by scanning products or keying price into register according to established company policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Finalize sales and collect payments by totaling order and accepting tender from customer.<\/li>\n<li>Alertly watch customers at pumps to help prevent drive-offs, unsafe misuse of gasoline containers or placement and pumping multiple cars within the same transaction.<\/li>\n<li>Block and straighten shelves as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with light stocking duties and inform management of any out-of-stock items.<\/li>\n<li>Replace misplaced items to the proper location.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain cleanliness of equipment, counter area, floor, restrooms, exterior pump area, etc., to ensure safety and sanitation regulations are met.<\/li>\n<li>Know and follow all state and local laws regarding cigarette sales.<\/li>\n<li>Know and follow all coupon handling procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Understand how to sell lottery tickets and gift cards.<\/li>\n<li>Assist other store Team Members in maintaining security in the store.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in kitchen area as needed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> About Us At Giant Eagle Inc., we\u2019re more than just food, fuel and convenience.
