You’ll harness cutting-edge technology to evolutionise our digital offerings, ensuring unparalleled customer experiences.<\/span>To be successful as a Senior Software Engineer (C#, JavaScript) you should have experience with:<\/span>C#<\/span>JavaScript<\/span>Working knowledge of MS Visual Studio\/Code, Git and other tools like Jira, Confluence, etc.<\/span>Some other highly valued skills may include:<\/span>Familiarity with software development methodologies, e.g. Agile, Scrum, Lean, CI<\/span>Knowledge of testing, continuous integration tools (preferably Jenkins) and deployment tools and practices<\/span>Functional Banking knowledge<\/span>You may be assessed on key critical skills relevant for success in role, such as risk and controls, change and transformation, business acumen, strategic thinking and digital and technology, as well as job-specific technical skills.<\/span>This role is based out of Pune.<\/span>Purpose of the role<\/b><\/span>To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues.\u00c2<\/span>Accountabilities<\/b><\/span>Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.<\/span>Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.<\/span>Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.<\/span>Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization\u00e2\u0080\u0099s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.<\/span>Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.<\/span>Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.<\/span>Analyst Expectations<\/span>Will have an impact on the work of related teams within the area.<\/span>Partner with other functions and business areas.<\/span>Takes responsibility for end results of a team\u00e2\u0080\u0099s operational processing and activities.<\/span>Escalate breaches of policies \/ procedure appropriately.<\/span>Take responsibility for embedding new policies\/ procedures adopted due to risk mitigation.<\/span>Advise and influence decision making within own area of expertise.<\/span>Take ownership for managing risk and strengthening controls in relation to the work you own or contribute to.
