You will also contribute to design discussions.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Roles and Responsibilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>In this role, you will:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Be responsible for defining, developing, and evolving software in a fast paced and agile development environment using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical leadership to an agile team of 5-7<\/li>\n<li>Strong with Java, Spring boot tech stack. Ability to learn quickly on Data science, AI\/ML implementations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands on experience with Angular\/React with strong JavaScript, typescript and UI tech stack.<\/li>\n<li>Translate requirements \/ vision into prioritized list of user stories and deliver to required timelines and quality standards<\/li>\n<li>Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging product and technology reuse<\/li>\n<li>Support process improvements which guide the development, sustaining &#038; support activities<\/li>\n<li>Work cross functionally with other business departments to align activities and deliverables<\/li>\n<li>Drive world-class quality in the development and support of products<\/li>\n<li>Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results<\/li>\n<li>Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge<\/li>\n<li>Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean\/Agile\/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques<\/li>\n<li>Write code that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project<\/li>\n<li>Understand performance parameters and assess application performance<\/li>\n<li>Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using technology chosen<\/li>\n<li>Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Education Qualification<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>For roles outside USA:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Computer Science or \u201cSTEM\u201d Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with advanced experience.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>For roles in USA: Bachelor&#8217;s Degree in Computer Science or \u201cSTEM\u201d Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience4years<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Desired Characteristics Technical Expertise: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Master&#8217;s Degree\/ PHD in Computer Science<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Windows and Unix \/ Linux based programming<\/li>\n<li>Experience working on software projects in the Energy domain (Energy Management, Oil &#038; Gas, Power &#038; Water)<\/li>\n<li>Certified Scrum Master and\/or Product Owner<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Business Acumen:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Demonstrates the initiative to explore alternate technology and approaches to solving problems<\/li>\n<li>Skilled in breaking down problems, documenting problem statements and estimating efforts<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrates awareness about competitors and industry trends<\/li>\n<li>Has the ability to analyze impact of technology choices<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Leadership:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to takes ownership of small and medium sized tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members<\/li>\n<li>Ensures understanding of issues and presents clear rationale. Able to speak to mutual needs and win-win solutions. Uses two-way communication to influence outcomes and ongoing results<\/li>\n<li>Identifies misalignments with goals, objectives, and work direction against the organizational strategy.
