We are responsible for detailed technical design and development of data-intensive capabilities using existing and emerging technologies.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>JOB SUMMARY AND RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>As part of our global team you will work on the data platform reporting to a Data Engineering Lead. Your role includes development, test and rollout of data platform features. Our platform is made of Java and Python services that inter-operate with Airflow, Flink, Kafka, GraphQL, REST, various AWS services, as well as vendor and external systems<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You are expected to contribute to the vision and roadmap, and a world-class engineering culture, while integrating business value and client experience within the team.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This initiative is of critical importance to the success of the organization and our roadmap. Services like liquidity analytics, billing, client onboarding, reporting and others will rely on the data platform. Accurate, granular, complete and timely data is a key differentiator and competitive advantage in the market place.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>We expect a successful candidate to have excellent communication skills, deliver high quality software and to be passionate about cutting edge data engineering.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 3 years of relevant Big Data experience using a modern processing frameworks (Hadoop, Spark, Airflow, Flink) and programming<\/li>\n<li>languages (Java\/Scala\/Python)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 1-year production experience with Kafka, Kinesis or equivalent<\/li>\n<li>Experience in REST and\/or GraphQL<\/li>\n<li>Experience in working with data-bases &#8211; NoSQL and\/or Relational.<\/li>\n<li>BS. or higher in Computer Science (or equivalent work experience)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with microservice architecture<\/li>\n<li>Experience with PostgreSQL<\/li>\n<li>Experience with AWS<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Snowflake<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Terraform<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Financial Services or Fintech<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> ABOUT GOLDMAN SACHS<span class=\"br\"><\/span>At Goldman Sachs, we commit our people, capital and ideas to help our clients, shareholders and the communities we serve to grow.
