For the Global IOT Product Organization<\/span>Job Title : Senior Testing Engineer – Firmware \/ Hardware \/ Embedded<\/span>Job Location : Chennai<\/span>Experience : 6+ Yrs<\/span>Notice Period : Dec Joinees Prefered<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Drive test designs from conception through system validation, including architecture requirements, functional specification, design, prototype, test bed bring up, Validation planning and verification.<\/span>Ability to work with cross-functional teams (Software, Hardware, Hardware Test & Firmware Test)<\/span>Work closely with Test and Automation developers to define testing strategy, test plan and test specification, also carrying out manual testing as needed.<\/span>Develop and execute Lighting & Other IoT system Test plans to ensure high-reliability in-field deployment.<\/span>Ability to Design , develop framework, create custom components in Python.<\/span>Ability to write, analyze and debug automated test cases on a well-known automation framework using Python<\/span>Support product through pre- and post-production releases.<\/span>This is a high-impact, high visibility opportunity for the right individual with strong technical skills, good communication and an enthusiasm for success.<\/span>Ability to work with 3rd party vendors to review test bed designs, fabricate by collaborating and provide guidance as needed.<\/span>Work closely with R&D to define and implement product design verification, validation and characterization tests.<\/span>Define and create\/code the product verification test suite, including automation of diagnostic functions and functional test scripts.<\/span>Oversee the fabrication of subsystem level functional test jigs and apparatus.<\/span>Provide product verification test reports and failure analysis reports.<\/span>Continuous update\/improvement of test suites to address corner case scenarios.<\/span>Candidate Profile:<\/b><\/span>Minimum 6+ years Embedded and\/or IoT system test experience.<\/span>BE\/BTECH and ME\/MS preferred, with Electrical and\/or Electronics Background.<\/span>Experience in any scripting languages like Python, Perl, etc but open to be in involved in python development.<\/span>Experience with embedded systems or testing complex systems comprised of hardware\/software\/firmware.<\/span>Experience in validating the performance of wireless products (802.15.4, WiFi, Zigbee, Bluetooth low energy (BLE) networks etc) or equivalent product.<\/span>Experience with Test automation of hardware devices including sensors and similar devices.<\/span>Behavioral Skills:<\/b><\/span>Good communication skills<\/span>Ability to influence the team.<\/span>Ability to lead the team and have organizational visibility.<\/span>Ability to interact with all stakeholders.<\/span>Strong in process and project management skills.<\/span>Added Plus<\/span>Experience testing low power\/battery powered systems.<\/span>Experience with sensors and lighting products.<\/span>Experience with GIT for source control.<\/p>\n
