This role is in Chennai, TN \u2013 HYBRID.<\/span>In this role, you\u2019ll make an impact in the following ways:<\/span>Attends the required Product Backlog Grooming & Planning Meetings to contribute to the Creation of Effective User Stories.<\/span>Comes up with Comprehensive Regression Suites for Applications & Systems.<\/span>Solves Complex Automation Challenges spanning multiple technologies in a scalable & extensible manner with least amount of maintenance.<\/span>Continuously improves the Efficiency of the Automation using innovative technologies & thought process in multiple QE Domain Areas.<\/span>Promotes and Implements the Shift Left Approach in close collaboration with the Application Development Teams.<\/span>Plays a key role in training and bridging the specific skill gaps across the Quality Engineering Domain.<\/span>Helps resolves issues detected during testing.<\/span>Provides QE support to Development, Business and Test teams on internal and external issues.<\/span>Helps with getting down to the Root Cause of the Issues and works with the Engineering Teams to resolve and Validate the Fixes.<\/span>Ensures Continuous Testing, Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery are enabled for the Apps Automated. Leads and Manages a team of Senior Quality Engineers for solving specific Automation Challenges or Delivery Initiatives.<\/span>Provides them guidance and direction and helps improve team productivity and meet project timelines.<\/span>Contributes to the achievement of area objectives.<\/span>To be successful in this role, we\u2019re seeking the following:<\/span>Bachelor’s degree BE\/B.tech\/MCA\/BCA<\/span>Quality Engineer will not only inject Quality at each and every layer of the application & every step of the SDLC but also help solve some of the most complex automation challenges that impact a lot of business areas.<\/span>Will play a key role in Shifting Left and enable CI\/CD Pipelines.<\/span>Very proficient with Selenium, Cucumber BDD framework, Core Java and API Automation<\/span>Very Proficient in writing SQL for Automated testing<\/span>Will also help with constantly improving the efficiency of the Automation Tools and Processes.<\/span>May lead a few Senior Quality Engineers on specific initiatives.<\/span>DB Expert \u2013 Will support QE Initiatives involving working with Databases & ETL Systems & Associated Automation Technologies. \u2013 Nice to Have<\/span>MQ Expert – Will support QE Initiatives involving working with complex Messaging Queues & Associated Automation Technologies. \u2013 Nice to Have<\/span>At BNY, our culture speaks for itself.
