DESCRIPTION<\/b><\/span>Are you looking for an opportunity to build an LLM based enterprise-grade, highly available, large scale, software solution? If so, we are looking for you to fill a challenging position in Alexa Enterprise Products team.<\/span>As an engineer, you’ll develop scalable, flexible and widely-used services to manage trust on the Alexa Services. You’ll work closely with senior and principal engineers, applied scientist, and security experts to develop robust solutions.<\/span>This is a hands-on position where you will get an opportunity to get involved at every level of the software development cycle, from designing and building rock-solid components to deploying and monitoring them in production, as well as mentoring other engineers. \n Want to join a startup team building new Alexa experiences for hospitality and other out of home segments? Customers tell us they love the convenience of Alexa and smart home, and we want to extend those experiences to shared living spaces such as rentals, assisted living and more.<\/span>We are looking for a passionate, hard-working, and talented software engineer who has experience building innovative applications that customers love. You will build new services and experiences from ground up, will be a technical leader and have impact tech design, architecture, and implementation of Alexa features.<\/span>In this role, you will take a pragmatic and iterative approach to building software: You will simplify and get things done while experimenting on rapid iterations on the new concepts. You will need to be a focused and thoughtful leader of your team who works effectively with external and internal partners.<\/span>A day in the life<\/b>
\n Your role in this startup team will offer diverse opportunities for creating innovative software. On a given day you might:<\/span>Design and develop micro-services to create new core software services.
\n Build service architectures that have rock solid availability and performance.
\n Work closely with customers, product managers, cross-team developers to build innovative software.

\n We work on expanding Alexa’s use case by creating features and core Alexa system functionality that allows Alexa to be use by business enterprises (as opposed to personal homes). You will be writing code to deliver these pieces of functionality.<\/span>BASIC QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/span>– 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
\n – 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
\n – Experience programming with at least one software programming language
\n – Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent<\/span>PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS<\/b><\/span>– Master’s degree in computer science or equivalent
\n – 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
\n – Experience building complex software systems that have been successfully delivered to customers
\n – Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems
\n – Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java, C++, or C# including object-oriented design<\/p>\n
