As part of a small and lean team, you will have a very direct impact on the success of the company.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Roles &#038; Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design and develop a sophisticated data infrastructure for streaming, processing, and storage, aligned with a modern Lakehouse architecture.<\/li>\n<li>Build and maintain tools for effective data monitoring and management using best practices in data engineering.<\/li>\n<li>Lead key architectural decisions and implement significant data pipeline initiatives using the latest technologies.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with various stakeholders to deliver scalable and performant data solutions, supporting all aspects of data handling from extraction to loading.<\/li>\n<li>Promote knowledge sharing within the team, encouraging best practices for a data-driven culture.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure robust data governance and compliance with developed data retention, backup strategies, and secure storage solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Leading a team of 4-5 data engineers<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Required Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Computer Science or related field from a top university.<\/li>\n<li>Over 8 years of experience in data infrastructure, with a proven track record in building scalable and high-performance data systems.<\/li>\n<li>Deep expertise in SQL and extensive experience with relational and NoSQL databases.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced proficiency in Apache Kafka, Hadoop ecosystem, and stream-processing systems like Spark Streaming.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with big data tools (Pig, Hive, Spark), data serialization frameworks (Protobuf, Thrift, Avro), and workflow management using Apache Airflow.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of data catalog tools such as Open Metadata and Unity Catalog is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible) and CDC technologies (e.g., Maxwell, Debezium) is advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Tech Stack<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Backend: Play (Java 8+), Golang, , Python, FastAPI<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Frontend: AngularJS, ReactJS<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Mobile: Android, Flutter, React Native<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Cache: Hazelcast, Redis<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Data storage: MySQL, TiDB, Elasticsearch, Delta Lake<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Infrastructure monitoring: Prometheus, Grafana<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Orchestrator: Kubernetes<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Containerization: Docker, Containerd<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Cloud Provider: GCP, AWS<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Data pipelines: Apache Kafka, Spark Streaming, Maxwell\/Debezium, PySpark, TiCDC<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Workflow manager: Apache Airflow<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Query engines: Apache Spark, Trino<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Submit a job application<span class=\"br\"><\/span>By applying to the job, you acknowledge that you have read, understood and agreed to our (the \u201cNotice\u201d) and consent to the collection, use and\/or disclosure of your personal data by Ninja Logistics Pte Ltd (the \u201cCompany\u201d) for the purposes set out in the Notice.
