This particular role would be serving a federal law enforcement agency in Clarksburg, WV.<\/span>Primary Responsibilities:<\/b>
\n oDevelops, creates, and modifies general computer applications software or specialized utility programs.
\n oAnalyzes user needs and develops software solutions.
\n oDesigns or customizes software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency.
\n oAnalyzes and designs databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
\n oResearches, designs, develops, and tests operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
\n oSets operational specifications and formulates and analyzes software requirements.
\n oDesigns embedded systems software.
\n oApplies principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
\n oPossesses and applies expertise on multiple complex work assignments.
\n oAssignments may be broad in nature, requiring originality and innovation in determining how to accomplish tasks.
\n oOperates with appreciable latitude in developing methodology and presenting solutions to problems.
\n oContributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable.<\/span>Basic Qualifications:<\/b>
\n oBachelor\u2019s Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems
\n oManagement, other related discipline, or equivalent experience; additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
\n o4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience
\n oAbility to work well within a small team environment
\n oStrong communication skills
\n oUS Citizenship<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b>
\n oExperience with software product development
\n oAgile Experience
\n oSoftware development tools: JIRA, Confluence
\n oLanguages\/frameworks: JIRA
\n oSource control tools: GIT
\n oDOD Top Secret Clearance (SCI) is required.<\/span>FBIPROGRAMS<\/span>Original Posting Date: 2024-09-27<\/span>While subject to change based on business needs, Leidos reasonably anticipates that this job requisition will remain open for at least 3 days with an anticipated close date of no earlier than 3 days after the original posting date as listed above.<\/span>Pay Range: Pay Range $81,250.00 – $146,875.00<\/span>The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), or other law.
