{"id":2144,"date":"2024-11-10T08:03:21","date_gmt":"2024-11-10T08:03:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/architectural-inspector\/"},"modified":"2024-11-10T08:03:21","modified_gmt":"2024-11-10T08:03:21","slug":"architectural-inspector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/architectural-inspector\/","title":{"rendered":"Architectural Inspector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Architectural Inspector to join our team.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>What You&#8217;ll Be Doing:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Conducts tests to determine if work has been done in accordance with contract specifications and may include any of the following: Performs civil and structural tests, such as soil compaction, moisture content, aggregation, graduation, concrete slump, air entrainment, concrete compression, lines and grades surveys, bolt torques, and concrete coring.<\/li>\n<li>Performs destructive and non-destructive tests on metals and other materials through magnaflex, dyepenetrant, radiographic, tension and compression, paint thickness, and resistivity.<\/li>\n<li>Performs surveillance of underground piping to ensure tightness, bedding, and grade.<\/li>\n<li>Inspects and monitors piling installation to ensure location and bearing.<\/li>\n<li>Validates piping systems, including P&#038;ID checks and hydraulic or other pressure tests.<\/li>\n<li>Inspects electrical installations to ensure proper grounding, circuit integrity, and adherence to statutory and customer regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Performs continuing inspection of painting and insulation to ensure thickness and coverage continuity.<\/li>\n<li>Provides general inspection on all construction labour and subcontracted tasks to ensure professional workmanship.<\/li>\n<li>Verifies equipment alignment and balancing operations. Participates in the development of quality control reports and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Participates in the development of job safety practices and in the preparation of safety reports.<\/li>\n<li>May administer welder qualification tests.<\/li>\n<li>Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What Required Skills You&#8217;ll Bring: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Diploma\/Degree in Architecture from an accredited University\/ Institution.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 7+ years of experience in construction supervision of infrastructure projects preferably in the GCC.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> What Desired Skills You&#8217;ll Bring: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret drawings, construction specifications and processes related to civil inspection.
