Eurofins companies offer a portfolio of over 200,000 analytical methods to evaluate the safety, identity, composition, authenticity, origin, traceability and purity of biological substances and products.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>In 2024, Eurofins generated total revenues of EUR 6.95 billion; and has been among the best performing stocks in Europe over the past 20 years.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>POSITION TITLE : Senior Software Engineer<span class=\"br\"><\/span>REPORTING LOCATION: Bangalore, India<span class=\"br\"><\/span>CORE OBJECTIVE: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver and maintain high quality software by oneself and together, within a team, including analysis, design, code, testing, documentation, operation, support, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Promote high quality engineering of the target solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Embrace Agile practices and adhere to Eurofins guidelines in all the phases of the SDLC.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with users, functional analysts, application architects, deployment team(a) and other stakeholders to design fit for purpose software and features.<\/li>\n<li>Develop working relationships within the wider Eurofins IT community and with internal customers.<\/li>\n<li>Create and contribute to a good team spirit.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, ROLE AND SKILLS: Experience &#038; Role: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least 4-6 years as a software developer or system engineer in .Net based full stack development;<\/li>\n<li>Strong technical and analytical skills required, including a thorough understanding of application architecture<\/li>\n<li>Experience in collaborating in projects in multiple international geographical locations. Work with different stakeholders to author, review, and improve technical and functional specifications, which includes tests description and acceptance criteria;<\/li>\n<li>Author and contribute, timely and at the appropriate quality level, development, operations, maintenance, troubleshooting, tests and documentation of the company&#8217;s application suite;<\/li>\n<li>Follow and promote development practices and policies in order to produce high quality software which can be easily implemented within the company;<\/li>\n<li>Use state-of-art software engineering practices and development frameworks &#8211; namely Agile &#8211; so as to ensure superior quality on every delivery;<\/li>\n<li>Escalate and follow-up on timely manner all the issues that might be a blocker, issue deviation from SPOs, guidelines, etc.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Technology skills: (Mandatory)<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Strong experience in .NET C# and Angular.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Hands on experience in SQL Server writing complex queries.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong background in Software Development\/Engineering.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Strong taste of unit testing and peer testing the code developed.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Experience with Flutter for cross-platform mobile development.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Familiarity with SendGrid or similar email services.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Preferred:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge on cloud-based development and Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge of software design principles and architecture patterns<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Methodology skills:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Agile-Scrum<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Personal Skills:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Autonomous and Proactive.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to make independent judgment.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Good oral and written communication skills.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Ability to understand end-user needs.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u00b7 Risk oriented sensitivity<span class=\"br\"><\/span>.
