The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in manual\/functional testing, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in an Agile delivery environment.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Understand business requirements, functional specifications, and translate them into detailed test scenarios and test cases<\/li>\n<li>Perform functional, integration, system, and regression testing to ensure application quality<\/li>\n<li>Execute test cases, log defects, and track them through resolution using standard defect management tools<\/li>\n<li>Participate in test planning, estimation, and execution activities across releases<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and resolve issues<\/li>\n<li>Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and production validation activities<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to SDLC and Agile processes, including sprint ceremonies and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Maintain test documentation including test plans, test cases, and test results aligned to project standards<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Required Skills &#038; Experience<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>3 to 5 years of experience in Functional \/ Manual Testing<\/li>\n<li>Strong knowledge of Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience in:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Test case design and execution<\/li>\n<li>Defect management and reporting<\/li>\n<li>Test data preparation and validation<\/li>\n<li>Good understanding of Agile\/Scrum methodologies<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to testing tools such as JIRA, ALM, or similar tools (based on typical internal practices)<\/li>\n<li>Basic understanding of:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>SQL \/ Database testing<\/li>\n<li>API testing concepts (preferred but not mandatory)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Core Competencies<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and ability to identify edge cases<\/li>\n<li>Good communication and collaboration skills<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment<\/li>\n<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Good to Have<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience in Financial Services domain<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to test automation concepts<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of CI\/CD or DevOps processes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Qualifications<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Additional Notes<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate should demonstrate ownership, accountability, and a quality-first mindset<\/li>\n<li>Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and technologies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  About State Street<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Across the globe, institutional investors rely on us to help them manage risk, respond to challenges, and drive performance and profitability.
