Our workplace embraces diversity and inclusion \u2013 it\u2019s a place where you can grow, belong and thrive.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Your day at NTT DATA<br \/> The Senior Associate Software Quality Assurance \/ Testing Engineer is a developing subject matter expert, responsible for supporting with every phase of the development process to ensure that the design and software adhere to company standards.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This role provides support in the development and execution of exploratory and automated tests to ensure product quality.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key responsibilities:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Proactively supports the planning, execution, reporting, and successful completion of QA activities for all new development cycles for various releases.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to Agile-related user story review meetings and\/or work with relevant business stakeholders and developers to understand the new or modified application functionality.<\/li>\n<li>Receives instructions to work with the required user community (such as Regions or the Product Owner) to understand business requirements and uphold quality of each release by ensuring a comprehensive end-to-end testing coverage.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to designing and implementing end-to-end test scenarios, as well as debugging and defining corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Supports the review of system requirements and tracking of quality assurance metrics (e.g. defect densities and open defect counts).<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to performing and documenting risk analysis and record test progress and results. Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved.<\/li>\n<li>Receives instructions from various stakeholders to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the creation of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively supports the design, development, coding, and execution of automation scripts<\/li>\n<li>Receives instructions to identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs and develop and apply testing processes for new and existing products to meet client needs.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes to the development of standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness.<\/li>\n<li>Contributes ideas and suggestions that will enable innovation and streamline overall testing processes.<\/li>\n<li>Proactively supports and documents established QA processes and best practices in Agile Scrum development methodology and influences the continuous improvement of the QA activities.<\/li>\n<li>Performs any other related task as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  To thrive in this role, you need to have: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Some expertise in software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Team player with good attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to understand and analyze complex systems<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of SQL and scripting.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of software development process.<\/li>\n<li>Some expertise in agile development such as Scrum.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of software integrated development environments.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to handle client and customer issues tactfully and professionally.<\/li>\n<li>Understanding of object-oriented programming.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  Academic qualifications and certifications: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Relevant certifications such as Leading SAFe would be advantageous.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Required experience:<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Moderate level hands-on testing experience in AGILE\/DevOps Methodology, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Moderate level work experience in software development.<\/li>\n<li>Moderate level work experience in software quality assurance.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with working in an Agile\/Scrum development process.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with performance and\/or security testing is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Moderate level hands-on experience with automated testing tools.<\/li>\n<li>Moderate level experience working within a geographically dispersed company is desirable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  Workplace type: On-site Working<span class=\"br\"><\/span>About NTT DATA<br \/> NTT DATA is a $30+ billion business and technology services leader, serving 75% of the Fortune Global 100.
