{"id":176496,"date":"2026-05-14T08:48:18","date_gmt":"2026-05-14T08:48:18","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-springboard-internship-motion-design\/"},"modified":"2026-05-14T08:48:18","modified_gmt":"2026-05-14T08:48:18","slug":"were-hiring-springboard-internship-motion-design","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-springboard-internship-motion-design\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Springboard Internship &#8211; Motion Design"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Title: Motion Design Intern<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Role Overview<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>You will play a crucial role in providing support to the Creative team and bring a deep understanding of how screen-based content can interact with physical objects in novel and beautiful ways.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Job Responsibilities<\/b>  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Concepting and Ideation &#8211; Bring a digital point of view and eye to early-phase concepts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Art Direction &#8211; Ability to bring brand character and aesthetics to life in an on-brand way across various interactive touchpoints.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Visual and Motion Design Reference &#8211; Work with creative teams during conception and pre-production phases to communicate to clients the role that digital content will have in a physical installation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Content Team Collaboration &#8211; Work with internal and external animators, programmers and 3D artists to bring a vision to life. Experience working in real-time workflows is a bonus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Asset Production &#8211; Follow design systems and champion best practices to produce production-ready designs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  Experience Needed \/ Our Requirements  <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor&#8217;s or Master&#8217;s degree in Design or 3D Animation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Good motion design skills (2D and\/or 3D) in a wide range of styles.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Creative thinker and problem solver.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Can take a concept and interpret it into motion design that meets clients&#8217; goals and aligns with campaign strategy.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to express your creative ideas through mockups, mood boards, style frames, and motion prototypes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prototype and express design\/motion approach across 2D\/3D animation, interaction design, and visual effects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior experience of working in interdisciplinary teams for the creation of engaging and interactive digital storytelling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity or proficiency with Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects), Blender, or similar software.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>You have a personal interest in new technologies, software, and experimental design.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Prior internship or work experience in a similar role would be an advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  We believe the best work happens when we&#8217;re together, fostering creativity, collaboration, and connection.
