Changes are generally announced on short notice due to regulatory requirements or time to market challenges. Quality and stability has priority together with time to market.<\/li>\n<li>By working in an Agile DevOps model, acting a pilot for Investments and actively improving the model, we achieve very high quality while continuously delivering value to our clients. Located in Germany and India, we work closely together using agile and virtual collaboration techniques and our team\u2019s diversity to reach our goals of continuous deployment, process improvement and internalizing engineering know how.<\/li>\n<li>As a Quality and Testing Engineer you will closely work together with business and operation units and bring functional testing, test management and test automation skills to enforce the development team within a Squad. Continuous improvement and updating of existing tests.<\/li>\n<li>Test Execution and Analysis: Execute automated test scripts and analyse test results to identify defects and areas for improvement.<\/li>\n<li>Documentation and Reporting: Document test automation frameworks, scripts, and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Working with product owners and stakeholders to understand release goals, features, and desired outcomes.<\/li>\n<li>Accompany multiple intertwined subprojects and combined them into successful application releases.<\/li>\n<li>Creating detailed release schedules, timelines, and milestones, including all phases from development to deployment.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and coordinating the necessary resources (people, environments, tools) for each release.<\/li>\n<li>Determining and documenting the frequency and type of releases (e.g., major, minor, hotfix).<\/li>\n<li>Setting clear criteria that must be met before a release can proceed to the next stage.<\/li>\n<li>Overseeing and coordinating all activities across development, QA, operations, and other teams as well as all environments involved in the release process.<\/li>\n<li>Tracking progress against the release plan, identifying, and addressing any deviations or delays.<\/li>\n<li>Identifying and managing dependencies between different teams, components, and systems.<\/li>\n<li>Go\/No-Go Decisions: Facilitating and leading discussions to determine if a release is ready to proceed to the next stage (e.g., UAT, production).<\/li>\n<li>Proactively identifying potential risks that could impact the release, such as technical issues, resource constraints, or security vulnerabilities.<\/li>\n<li>Creating plans to address identified risks and minimize their impact.<\/li>\n<li>Tracking and resolving release-related issues, escalating to appropriate stakeholders when necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Post-Release Monitoring- Overseeing the initial monitoring of a release in production to identify and address any immediate issues.<\/li>\n<li>Communicating Release Status- Providing regular updates to all stakeholders (management, development teams, product owners, business users) on release progress, risks, and issues.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitating Stakeholder Meetings &#8211; Leading and participating in release-related meetings, such as release planning, readiness reviews, and post-mortems.<\/li>\n<li>Managing Expectations- Setting realistic expectations with stakeholders regarding release scope, timelines, and potential challenges.<\/li>\n<li>Creating Release Notes and Documentation- Ensuring comprehensive release notes and relevant documentation are prepared and distributed.<\/li>\n<li>Defining and Improving Release Processes &#8211; Continuously reviewing and improving the release management process to enhance efficiency, quality, and speed.<\/li>\n<li>Implementing and Utilizing Release Tools- Leveraging release automation tools, CI\/CD pipelines, and other software to streamline the release process.<\/li>\n<li>Ensuring Compliance: Ensure the application\u2019s compliance with Deutsche Bank IT policies (i.e. security monitoring, roadmap compliance, access management-SoD, etc), including availability of all necessary application\/service knowledge and documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Fostering Collaboration: Promoting effective communication and collaboration between all teams involved in the release process.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>  <b>Your Skills and Experience<\/b> <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technical Proficiency: Experience in mainframe with COBOL, JCL, CICS, DB2\/SQL &#038; MQ. Strong experience with test automation tools (Selenium\/UFT\/TOSCA) and ALM, Jira, Confluence.<\/li>\n<li>Automation and Scripting: Min 5 years of experience in test automation, with a focus on mainframe applications. Expertise in TOSCA.<\/li>\n<li>Quality Assurance and Testing: Understanding of software testing methodologies, including functional and regression testing.<\/li>\n<li>Problem-Solving and Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve issues within test automation frameworks and scripts.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with Agile\/SCRUM environment including agile tooling and methodology together with Knowledge of investment business and its operations.<\/li>\n<li>Monitoring and Logging Tools: Familiarity with tools for post-release monitoring.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with tooling across the Software development Lifecycle\/DevOps: Jira, HP ALM, Confluence, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Capable to plan and the strong ability to manage unexpected events; control and deal with the solutions, and efficiently.
