This position primarily collaborates with the market\u2019s Outbound Lead(s), Driver Partners, and Delivery Service Providers, with significant functional collaboration with other members of the Transportation Department and the Engineering Department (routing optimization).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Outbound<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ensure packages are sent out for delivery each operating day according to company schedule requirements.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Ensure routes are released to the driver pool in accordance with routing guidelines. Assist in confirming driver assignments and ETAs at least 12 hours in advance of route pickup.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Transportation<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Manage relationships with the market driver pool. Assist in new driver recruitment and on-boarding to maximize driver engagement and retention.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist in selecting, evaluating, and managing relationships with delivery service provider (DSP) vendors.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Use client forecasts, launch schedules, etc. to determine driver coverage requirements and ensure market driver availability is efficiently matched with market driver demand to achieve OTD and final mile cost metrics.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Coach and mentor driver partners and delivery service providers to enable achievement of on-time delivery, final mile cost, and customer satisfaction metrics.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Assist in development and implementation of market routing parameters, volume allocation guidelines, etc.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Help manage the temp platforms utilized to fill gaps in driver pool capacity<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Performs other duties as assigned.<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Position Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least three years\u2019 related experience in the local market required (last mile delivery, dispatching, transportation, etc.).<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual in English and SPANISH: AT A MINIMUM MUST BE ABLE TO UNDERSTAND SPANISH AND SPEAK BASIC PHRASES!!!<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of local market geography, transportation arteries, traffic patterns, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Strong supervisory and leadership skills, with the ability to develop relationships with and influence independent contractors outside of a direct reporting relationship.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with diverse audiences.<\/li>\n<li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines in a time-sensitive work environment.<\/li>\n<li>Proficient with Google Drive, Slack, and related operations software.<\/li>\n<li>OSHA Forklift Operator certification is a plus.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Physical Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The physical requirements below are representative of what is necessary to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:<\/li>\n<li>Stand, walk, sit at a desk, work on a computer, climb, kneel, crouch, or crawl.<\/li>\n<li>Move or lift up to 60 pounds on a daily basis.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Hours:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Typical hours are Monday through Friday, 6:00am &#8211; 2:00pm. This position may require weekend, night, and holiday hours according to the needs of the company. Expected to have a presence in the local facility five days a week.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Travel:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>This position does not typically require travel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Warehouse conditions: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The warehouse environment is not air conditioned, and there are no break rooms. CMs should bring their own water<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>***General Requirements***<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Forklift<span class=\"br\"><\/span>When working in a Forklift Position through Bluecrew, you may be expected to do any and all of the following: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Independently operate a seated, stand-up, or cherry picker-type lift, depending on the position based on best safety practices and supervisor direction.<\/li>\n<li>Operating machinery or other light equipment as trained in a safe and responsible manner<\/li>\n<li>Loading and unloading inventory in a safe and responsible manner<\/li>\n<li>Working on your feet at a fast pace for the entirety of the shift<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in an environment where there are forklifts, machinery, large trucks, and other standard or sub-standard warehouse equipment<\/li>\n<li>There may be a specific dress code, but if it is not listed, please make sure to wear close-toed shoes and pants.
