Pismo’s cloud-based platform empowers firms to build and launch financial products rapidly, scaling as they grow to have a broader audience while keeping high security and availability standards.<\/span>Pismo’s 500+ employees are located in more than 10 countries around the world.<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>Join a Cross-Functional Squad dedicated to building and maintain customized features and extensions on top of our core platform. You’ll help deliver region-specific and client-specific solutions without impacting core services, enabling rapid global expansion.<\/span>What You’ll Do:<\/b><\/span>Develop and maintain applications using Golang or Java, following clean code and best software engineering practices.<\/span>Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure microservices architecture.<\/span>Collaborate with engineering and product teams to refine and deliver technical solutions aligned with business needs.<\/span>Leverage AWS services such as SQS, SNS, DynamoDB, S3, and EventBridge in day-to-day development.<\/span>Use Terraform to provision, maintain, and evolve AWS infrastructure.<\/span>Write unit and integration tests to ensure code quality and system robustness.<\/span>Monitor application health and performance using observability tools (metrics, logs, alerts).<\/span>Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.<\/span>Contribute to architectural and technical discussions, supporting continuous improvement and innovation.<\/span>This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>Basic Qualification:
\n 5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 8+ years of relevant work experience.
Language Skills:<\/b>
\n Proficiency in English at B2 level or above (Upper-Intermediate)
Technical Skills:<\/b>
\n Experience with Financial Industry or Payments \/ Authorization Systems.
\n +5 years of experience as a Software Developer.
\n +3 years of experience with Golang.
\n Skilled in Golang and adaptable to other languages like – Java\/Groovy or JVM-related.
\n Advanced Git user resolves team version control issues.
\n Thorough code reviews focusing on cross-domain quality.
\n Writes and validates unit, integration, performance, and end-to-end tests.
\n Experienced with Swagger, flow diagrams, and API documentation, supports DEVEX and external publishing.
\n Proficient with Terraform, Argo, Jenkins, Codefresh for infrastructure and deployment understand related integrations.
\n Deep product knowledge, active in feature planning and impact analysis.
\n Strong relational database design and non-relational strategy, effective data modeling.
\n Proficient in AWS, applying optimal performance techniques.
\n Designs scalable microservices and evaluates architectural options.
\n Identifies and resolves distributed systems issues for improved reliability.<\/span>Preferred Qualifications:<\/b>
\n Work with critical systems is a differential
