Thematic Investing provides our customers the ability to invest in Themes curated by Schwab&#8217;s research team.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>What you\u2019ll do:<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Thematic Core Services team seeks an experienced and highly skilled mid-level Java Developer to join our dynamic development team. The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex software applications using Java technologies. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Design, develop, test, and deploy robust Java-based applications and services.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, business analysts, and QA engineers, to gather requirements and deliver solutions.<\/li>\n<li>Mentor and guide junior developers, perform code reviews and share best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize code for performance, reliability, and scalability.<\/li>\n<li>Stay up to date with emerging Java technologies and frameworks, recommending and implementing improvements as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Contributed to the documentation of software architecture, design decisions, and processes.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure adherence to software development standards and security best practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What you have<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Required Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>4+ years of professional experience in Java software development.<\/li>\n<li>Strong proficiency in Java SE\/EE, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful web services.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).<\/li>\n<li>Hands-on experience designing and building APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Solid understanding of object-oriented design principles and design patterns.<\/li>\n<li>Experience in Agile\/Scrum development environments.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Preferred Skills<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Familiarity with front-end technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, and CSS is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with CI\/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with microservices architecture is highly desirable.<\/li>\n<li>Experience with trading and\/or high-volume, high-availability systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> In addition to the base pay range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities.<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jobviewtrack.com\/v2\/nsMey5iTI10amdhubOKR2Z8aywD9YlGdNQ4KZbuXaYorUDHMDHXhlYE6QlKwVeBER1C7auy-4vurjiJC3_gl-1gqQd5iZdoVE9k8yjxv5Ggmfu587cvxmXO2mFYovyGM45hF7qX3a0up-zcBAQSznZWsqRiUxhbXTrNLo39HVm5gmMZZ6oicxPuiz38km0Tkk1Ynf81vJSwk4lJ__AgqkQ?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Your Opportunity At Schwab, you\u2019re empowered to make an impact on your career.
