The successful candidate will demonstrate excellence in teaching Art History within a design-oriented academic environment, maintain an active research profile, and contribute to critical discourse in historical and contemporary art contexts. The appointee will support undergraduate education, curriculum development, research initiatives, student mentorship, and institutional service within a collaborative and multicultural academic setting.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Teaching and Curriculum Development:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deliver undergraduate courses in Art History, including global art history, modern and contemporary art, architectural history, design history, visual culture, and critical theory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Teach survey and specialized courses aligned with Interior Design, Graphic Design, and Architecture programs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Integrate interdisciplinary perspectives connecting art history with design practice and cultural studies.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop and update course content to reflect scholarly advancements and accreditation expectations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Guide students in research-based writing, analytical methodologies, and presentation skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to curriculum review and program development initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Research, Scholarship, and Creative Activity:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain an active research agenda in Art History or related fields.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Publish in peer-reviewed journals and present at reputable national and international conferences.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Contribute to exhibitions, symposia, or scholarly collaborations where appropriate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support the School\u2019s academic visibility and research profile.Pursue interdisciplinary research initiatives and external funding where applicable.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Service and Institutional Engagement:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Engage actively in departmental, school, and university committees.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Support program assessment, accreditation documentation, and quality assurance activities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Participate in student recruitment, outreach initiatives, exhibitions, competitions, and community engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Offer academic advising and mentorship to students.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Foster a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the academic community.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Required<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Academic Credentials:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>PhD in Art History with a design or architecture-related background from an accredited institution.
