Find your future with us.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Boeing Global Services (BGS) is seeking a F\/A-18 Airframe Field Service Representative (FSR) to support the to support the F\/A-18 program at Ahmed Al Jaber Air Base, Kuwait.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>This is a Long-Term Assignment to Kuwait. Relocation\/assignment benefits to the international location will be provided. Ability to meet international assignment health requirements required. If accompanied, family must also meet international assignment health requirements.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You are applying for a Field Operations position where our employees must be willing and able (potentially short notice) to travel to a variety of locations (domestic and\/or international) to meet the needs of our customers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Field Operations employees may be required to relocate to another Field Operations location based on customer needs and\/or management requirements.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Specific contracts supported by Field Operations could require employees to perform a deployment to a US DOD contingency operation. Employees associated with these specific contracts must be able to pass military contractor health standards for deployment.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Position Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provides Support for F\/A-18 Airframes and Powerplants Systems to the Kuwaiti Air Force for systems to include but not limited to:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>engine\/airframe interface<\/li>\n<li>control surfaces<\/li>\n<li>flight control systems including rigging, environmental control systems<\/li>\n<li>landing and arresting gear<\/li>\n<li>aircraft structures<\/li>\n<li>composite repair<\/li>\n<li>bleed air<\/li>\n<li>hydraulics<\/li>\n<li>pneumatics<\/li>\n<li>onboard oxygen generating system (OBOGS)<\/li>\n<li>egress systems<\/li>\n<li>fuels<\/li>\n<li>corrosion control<\/li>\n<li>secondary power systems<\/li>\n<li>Leads technical field support of company products<\/li>\n<li>Performs troubleshooting procedures for multiple systems and specialty coverage<\/li>\n<li>Resolves maintenance and operational issues<\/li>\n<li>Monitors product performance and makes recommendations for resolution of potential issues<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes technical data and evaluates maintenance procedures<\/li>\n<li>Develops and conducts ad hoc training<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Basic Qualifications (Required Skills\/Experience): <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 5 years of experience interpreting engineering drawings, schematics &#038; technical publications<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience on F\/A-18 Hornet Airframes, Hydraulic and Fuel System.<\/li>\n<li>5+ years of experience performing Fault Isolation Troubleshooting on Fuel and Hydraulic Systems.<\/li>\n<li>At the sole discretion of leadership, employees must be willing and able (on potentially short notice) to deploy\/travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs. Failure to relocate will be considered as a resignation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills\/Experience): <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum 7 years of experience on F\/A-18 E\/F is desired<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Ex-Pat Information: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Candidate must be able to obtain a work visa, depending on requirements of the country<\/li>\n<li>Candidate must be able to meet the cultural requirements of the country, as applicable<\/li>\n<li>Employment is contingent on the candidate&#8217;s ability to satisfy all labor and immigration formalities of the country<\/li>\n<li>Because the candidate selected will be expected to go on an international assignment, the offer will be contingent upon the candidate&#8217;s ability to obtain clearances from International Health Services and the receipt of a visa\/work permit to the country in which he or she will be assigned.
