{"id":168759,"date":"2026-03-29T02:53:01","date_gmt":"2026-03-29T02:53:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-technical-sales-representative-5\/"},"modified":"2026-03-29T02:53:01","modified_gmt":"2026-03-29T02:53:01","slug":"were-hiring-technical-sales-representative-5","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/were-hiring-technical-sales-representative-5\/","title":{"rendered":"We\u2019re Hiring Technical Sales Representative"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>Job Description<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>In this role, you will be responsible for driving business growth by identifying and securing large-scale fire protection contracts, while acting as a trusted technical advisor to clients throughout the sales process. <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Prepare quotations in accordance with established procedures, and present them to clients.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure quotations&#8217; follow-up with clients.<\/li>\n<li>Determine costs breakdown for all phases of the project, if necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Project management as necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Pick off material lists as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Elaborate a work calendar when applicable.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluate service contracts for profitability.<\/li>\n<li>Elaborate technical presentations concerning fire protection systems.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in service sites meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Participate in promotional activities (NFPA, NFSA, AFSA, ASPE, CASA) and special events.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Success Factors<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>College diploma in fire protection or building mechanics or civil engineering, or high school diploma and equivalent relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.<\/li>\n<li>Proficiency in standards and codes governing the conception and installation of automatic fire extinguishers systems.<\/li>\n<li>Knowledge of products used in fire protection.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work well independently.<\/li>\n<li>Strong customer service skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>WHY JOIN US<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Viking values, respects, and supports the interests of its employees from all walks of life.
