We are looking to hire a dynamic Senior Software Engineer in PHP to manage our back-end services and ensure a seamless interchange of data between the server and our users. As a Senior Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and coding all server-side logic. You will also be required to maintain the central database and respond to requests from the team as well as the client. The ideal candidate should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of backend tools & front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3.<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Lead the entire web application development lifecycle, including concept, design, test, release,<\/span>and support phases.<\/span>Enhance existing systems by analyzing business objectives, preparing an action plan, and<\/span>identifying areas for modification and improvement.<\/span>Design, develop and maintain and maintain efficient PHP modules to seamlessly integrate front-<\/span>end technologies.<\/span>Conducting analysis of client requirements and developing back-end portals with an optimized<\/span>database.<\/span>Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications.<\/span>Updating and altering application features to enhance performance.<\/span>Should be able to come up with effective solutions to fill the gap between product features and<\/span>customer needs.<\/span>Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.<\/span>Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.<\/span>Ability to manage & coordinate with internal & external teams as required.<\/span>Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends to improve system architecture.<\/span>Requirements & Qualification:<\/b><\/span>Bachelors degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work<\/span>experience).<\/b><\/span>3-4 years of working expertise in PHP Full stack development<\/span>Proven experience as a Senior Software Engineer\/ Senior PHP Developer or similar role with a<\/span>strong portfolio of PHP projects.<\/span>Intermediate to expert level experience in Laravel framework<\/span>Solid understanding about web technology<\/span>Solid understanding of front-end technologies, such as JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.<\/span>Experience with relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB,<\/span>Redis).<\/span>Familiarity with version control systems (Git) and CI\/CD pipelines.<\/span>Strong fundamentals in OO, algorithms and data structures<\/span>Experience in working on Linux environment<\/span>Preferred Skills<\/b><\/span>3-4 years of expertise in PHP, with atleast 1 year in Laravel<\/span>Good to have:<\/b><\/span>Good knowledge of MongoDB<\/span>Experience with cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).<\/span>Knowledge of DevOps practices and tools.<\/span>Knowledge of application scalability<\/span>Knowledge in Software Design & UX
