And if that\u2019s you we would love to have you join us!<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>Role- Project Engineer \u2013 Electrical Hardware Design<\/span>Location: Pune, India<\/span>Work Model: Onsite -In Office<\/span>A Day in the Life<\/b><\/span>As a Project Engineer \u2013 Electrical Hardware Design, you will be responsible for delivering electrical control panel design projects end to end, from interpreting customer requirements through design, testing, and customer acceptance. You will work closely with cross\u2011functional engineering teams and report to the Team Lead, working onsite in Pune, with travel to customers or regional offices as required for testing and commissioning.<\/span>Your Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Interpret customer specifications and translate them into detailed requirements for electrical control panel and system design.<\/span>\u00b7 Develop engineering deliverables including Functional Design Specifications (FDS), wiring diagrams, single line diagrams, panel layouts, and test procedures.<\/span>\u00b7 Execute assigned projects on time, ensuring quality, cost effectiveness, and customer satisfaction.<\/span>\u00b7 Perform system testing on the shop floor and support Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) and site activities when required.<\/span>\u00b7 Prepare and share weekly project progress reports with internal stakeholders and customers.<\/span>\u00b7 Ensure project implementation complies with engineering standards, quality procedures, and safety requirements.<\/span>\u00b7 Maximize reuse of standard products, designs, and engineering practices across projects.<\/span>\u00b7 Collaborate with the Supervisor and project team to identify, clarify, and mitigate technical risks.<\/span>\u00b7 Continuously improve engineering capability by sharing best practices and technical knowledge within the team.<\/span>The Essentials \u2013 You Will Have<\/span>\u00b7 Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).<\/span>\u00b7 5\u20137 years of experience in project execution for electrical control panel or control system design.<\/span>\u00b7 Hands\u2011on experience with EPLAN and AutoCAD Electrical.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong capability in component selection and preparation of control system Bills of Materials (BOM).<\/span>\u00b7 Experience performing power and heat load calculations and designing appropriate panel layouts.<\/span>\u00b7 Ability to develop single line diagrams and wiring drawings in compliance with IEC and JIC standards.<\/span>\u00b7 Willingness and ability to travel for FAT, site support, or commissioning activities as required.<\/span>\u00b7 The ability to travel 25% of the time<\/span>The Preferred \u2013 You Might Also Have<\/span>\u00b7 Experience designing control panels for hazardous areas or environmentally specified applications.<\/span>\u00b7 Knowledge of third\u2011party certification requirements and compliance\u2011driven panel design.<\/span>\u00b7 Familiarity with P&IDs, system architecture, I\/O lists, and design documentation for process safety applications.<\/span>\u00b7 End\u2011to\u2011end project lifecycle exposure, from design and engineering through commissioning.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong industry and application knowledge with a foundational understanding of project management principles.<\/span>What We Offer<\/b><\/span>Our benefits package includes \u2026<\/p>\n
