Labcorp is seeking a Senior Ruby on Rails resource to join our team at Bengaluru, India Office.<\/span>Work Schedule<\/b><\/span>Candidates are required to follow the work schedule from 2:00 PM to 11:00 PM IST.<\/span>Job Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>– Hands-on development of technical projects.<\/span>– Mentor junior developers and conduct code reviews.<\/span>– Collaborate with cross-functional teams.<\/span>– Ensure application performance, security, and scalability.<\/span>– Troubleshoot and resolve bottlenecks, bugs, and production issues.<\/span>– Adopt DevOps practices including CI\/CD pipelines, containerization, and cloud deployment.<\/span>Minimum Qualifications<\/b><\/span>– Bachelor\u2019s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.<\/span>– 5-7 years relevant experience in custom embedded product development.<\/span>– Strong hands-on experience with Ruby on Rails, including designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web<\/span>applications using object-oriented programming principles.<\/span>– Deep understanding of Rails architecture, RESTful APIs, MVC design patterns, and application performance optimization.<\/span>– Working knowledge of database design and development, preferably with MS SQL Express or similar relational databases.<\/span>– Experience with cloud-based architectures and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).<\/span>– Proficiency in Git-based version control systems and experience working in Agile development environments.<\/span>Preferred Qualifications<\/b><\/span>– Experience with front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue.js).<\/span>– Working Knowledge of Android OS.<\/span>– Familiarity with Docker\/Kubernetes for containerized deployments.<\/span>– Strong understanding of microservices architecture.<\/span>– Prior experience in scaling enterprise-level applications.<\/span>– ISO, FDA or other regulated industry training and experience desired.<\/span>Additional Job Standards<\/span>– Strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members.<\/span>– Problem-solving mindset with ability to handle complex technical challenges.<\/span>– Commitment to clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.<\/span>– Adaptability to evolving technologies and business needs.<\/span>Labcorp is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer:<\/span>Labcorp strives for inclusion and belonging in the workforce and does not tolerate harassment or discrimination of any kind.
