These integrated solutions drive mission success, close the Kill Chain, and ensure operational superiority.<\/span>We are seeking an experienced Sr. Java Software Engineer to join our growing team!<\/span>What You’ll Be Doing:<\/b><\/span>Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:<\/b><\/span>Designing, building, and maintaining efficient, reusable, and reliable software that integrates with various sensors<\/span>Traveling to support test exercises, including international travel as required (up to 25%)<\/span>Interfacing with customers and end users to understand requirements and translate them into technical specifications<\/span>Working with external data sources and APIs<\/span>Participating in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards<\/span>Testing and debugging applications to ensure optimal performance and usability<\/span>Implementing security and data protection measures<\/span>Continuously exploring and evaluating new technologies and frameworks to improve the development process<\/span>Contributing to documentation and knowledge sharing within the team<\/span>*This position is remote within the United States and offers flexibility in work location. However, the role requires up to 25% travel, which may include site visits, client meetings, team offsites, or industry events. Travel will be scheduled as needed based on project demands and business priorities.<\/span>Required Clearance:<\/span>Must be a US Citizen<\/span>Must have an ACTIVE Top Secret Clearance<\/span>What Required Skills You’ll Bring:<\/span>Bachelor\u2019s degree in a STEM field and 8+ years of related experience<\/span>Strong programming skills in Java or similar languages<\/span>Experience interfacing with customers and end-users to define technical requirements<\/span>Experience leading technical decisions, including problem breakdown, solution identification, and effective communication with engineering teams<\/span>Strong understanding of common test frameworks such as JUnit<\/span>Ability to travel to support multiple integration exercises each year<\/span>A valid U.S. passport is required for all official travel outside the continental United States (OCONUS)<\/span>What Desired Skills You’ll Bring:<\/span>Master\u2019s degree in Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field<\/span>Proficiency in writing clean, well-documented, and well-tested code using industry best practices<\/span>Strong foundation in algorithms and data structures and their practical applications<\/span>Experience with production-quality coding standards and design patterns<\/span>Professional development experience with the Rust programming language<\/span>Passion for developing customer-focused solutions<\/span>Experience with container-based software solutions such as Docker<\/span>GUI development experience with Java Swing<\/span>Experience developing within GIS applications, including TAK, TAKX, iTAK, WinTAK, or ATAK<\/span>Foundational knowledge of Electromagnetic Warfare (EW), Electronic Attack (EA), and related platforms and capabilities<\/span>Former Military or Intelligence Community (IC) experience is a plus<\/span>Security Clearance Requirement: An active Secret security clearance is required for this position.\u200b<\/span>This position is part of our Federal Solutions team.<\/span>The Federal Solutions segment delivers resources to our US government customers that ensure the success of missions around the globe.
