Position: Staff Software Engineer \u2013 GenAI Platform
\n Location: Hybrid, Downtown Toronto<\/span>We\u2019re seeking a Staff Software Engineer to help build an advanced Generative AI platform designed to transform how users interact with technology in the beauty and lifestyle space.<\/span>You\u2019ll join a team of talented engineers and innovators working at the intersection of AI, design, and real-world impact. This is a great opportunity to work with cutting-edge LLM technologies and make your mark on a product that\u2019s redefining personalized digital experiences.<\/span>What You\u2019ll Do:<\/span>– Design, build, and maintain scalable software applications and APIs.
\n – Collaborate with product, design, and AI teams to deliver engaging GenAI-driven features.
\n – Develop and optimize LLM-based solutions to create seamless user interactions.
\n – Write clean, well-tested, maintainable code and documentation.
\n – Help shape architectural decisions and engineering best practices across the team.
\n – Mentor junior developers and promote a culture of technical excellence.
\n – Stay current with emerging tools and frameworks in AI and web development.<\/span>What You Bring:<\/b><\/span>– Strong programming skills in TypeScript\/JavaScript and Python.
\n – Experience with FastAPI (or similar backend frameworks).
\n – Proven experience building web applications end-to-end.
\n – Hands-on experience with LLM applications or GenAI frameworks (e.g. LangChain).
\n – Familiarity with PostgreSQL or similar databases.
\n – Knowledge of Docker, unit testing, and agile development practices.
