Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst<\/span>Finance Analyst 2<\/span>Job title: Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst<\/span>Location: Dublin, Leeds<\/span>Overview of the role:<\/b><\/span>We are looking for a Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst to join the International FP&A Team, this role will report directly to the Head of FP&A.<\/span>You will assist in producing accurate, insightful, and high-quality reports for a complex $11bn division spanning five international regions, each with multiple brands and diverse revenue streams.<\/span>As FP&A Analyst \u2013 International, you will play a key role in supporting the financial planning, performance management, and strategic decision-making of the International division. Working at the centre of the FP&A function, you will help deliver high-quality financial insights, robust forecasts, and consistent reporting that enable senior leadership to drive performance and allocate capital effectively.<\/span>This is a high-visibility development role that offers exposure to the full international budgeting process and strategic planning, as well as the financial insights that support strategic initiatives and business growth across multiple markets.<\/span>Partnering closely with the Head of FP&A and Director of FP&A, you will help strengthen reporting transparency while driving continuous improvements in finance systems and processes. Through this work, you will ensure the International division operates with clear performance visibility, reliable financial data, and scalable planning frameworks.<\/span>This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.<\/span>What you\u2019ll do:<\/span>Budget & Forecasting<\/span>Support the Head of FP&A and Director of FP&A in managing the end-to-end forecasting and budgeting processes, ensuring operational efficiency across the division.<\/span>Coordinate forecasting cycles by tracking progress across workstreams and providing consolidated updates to the FP&A team.<\/span>Reporting & Financial Analysis<\/span>Maintain key monthly reporting files, ensuring alignment with month-end results and consistency across reporting outputs.<\/span>Run, reconcile, and provide commentary on the weekly flash report, ensuring accuracy and meaningful insights once automated reporting is in place.<\/span>Conduct initial reviews of financial data and models, performing reconciliations, sense checks, and highlighting anomalies or one-off items for further FP&A analysis.<\/span>EPM System Ownership<\/span>Own the process of accessing, interpreting, and loading financial data into the EPM system.<\/span>Monitor and maintain EPM load status during forecasting periods, ensuring completeness and accuracy of data submissions.<\/span>Manage the EPM constant currency process across budgeting, forecasting, and actuals reporting.<\/span>Management Reporting & Presentations<\/span>Support the preparation of recurring reporting packs and first drafts of finance presentations.<\/span>Assist in delivering standardised and ad-hoc financial reporting for the International CFO and Senior Director of FP&A.<\/span>Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, automation, and data quality.<\/span>What you\u2019ll bring:<\/span>Proficiency with EPM systems and financial data management.<\/span>Understanding of the sports betting and iGaming industry, market dynamics, and Flutter\u2019s competitive landscape.<\/span>Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate clearly to stakeholders at all levels across the organisation with clarity, impact and relevance<\/span>Highly organised with the ability to prioritise multiple workloads and meet tight deadlines while maintaining quality.<\/span>Proactive and forward-thinking mindset, anticipating reporting challenges and driving improvements.<\/span>Curiosity and eagerness to learn, with a focus on continuous development.<\/span>Studying towards or qualified in a professional accounting qualification (ACA \/ ACCA \/ CIMA).<\/span>It\u2019s ok if you don\u2019t think you tick every box on this list.
