If you’re driven by passion and purpose to protect what matters most, come help shape the future of what’s possible with us.<\/span>About the Role<\/b><\/span>We’re looking for a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to join one of our agile product development teams. In this role, you’ll contribute to the design, development, and ongoing enhancement of our cloud-based security products used by customers around the world.<\/span>Working in a collaborative, cross-functional squad, you’ll help deliver high-quality software solutions across both front-end and back-end systems. You’ll play a key role in technical design, solving complex engineering problems, and mentoring other developers while helping ensure our products remain robust, scalable, and secure.<\/span>This is a great opportunity for an experienced engineer who enjoys working across the full stack, contributing to architectural decisions, and building modern cloud-based applications in a supportive and innovation-focused environment.<\/span>In this role you will:<\/b><\/span>Design, develop, and maintain software components across front-end and back-end systems<\/span>Contribute to technical design approaches that meet functional, quality, performance, and scalability requirements<\/span>Develop applications using technologies such as .NET Core, C#, ASP. NET Core, REST APIs, and modern JavaScript frameworks<\/span>Build and maintain cloud-native applications and services<\/span>Work with containerised environments such as Docker and Kubernetes<\/span>Analyse system performance and identify opportunities for improvement<\/span>Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following agreed engineering standards<\/span>Participate in code reviews, automated testing, and defect resolution<\/span>Collaborate closely with engineers, product owners, testers, and other teams in an agile environment<\/span>Support existing products and contribute to continuous improvement of our platforms<\/span>Mentor and share knowledge with other engineers within the team<\/span>About You<\/b><\/span>You’re an experienced software engineer who enjoys building high-quality solutions and tackling complex technical challenges. You bring a collaborative mindset, strong problem-solving ability, and a passion for continuous learning and improvement.<\/span>You’ll bring:<\/span>A relevant tertiary qualification at Bachelor Degree Level OR 5+ years of commercial software development experience<\/span>Strong experience with .NET Core, C#, and ASP.NET Core or a comparable modern development stack<\/span>Experience building REST APIs and web services<\/span>Solid experience with SQL databases such as PostgreSQL or SQL Server<\/span>Front-end experience using HTML5, CSS, and a modern JavaScript framework such as React or Angular<\/span>Experience working in Agile software development environments<\/span>Understanding of secure web development practices (OWASP, CORS, etc.)<\/span>Experience building or deploying applications in cloud environments<\/span>Working at Gallagher<\/span>You’ll be part of a global, future-focused organisation where engineering talent is valued and supported.
