Software Test Lead (Manual\/QA\/QC) – Malaysia On-site<\/span>Location: Malaysia, Prefer Vietnamese who willing to onsite in Malaysia<\/span>Employment Type: Full-time, Hybrid Mode<\/span>About the Opportunity<\/b><\/span>On behalf of our client, we are hiring a Software Test Lead (Manual\/QA\/QC) to support their client team in Malaysia. Our client is a US-based service company, they\u2019ve grown into a global organization with locations in the US, Vietnam, Mexico and Poland.<\/span>Joining the team as a Software Test Lead (Manual\/QA\/QC), you will be responsible for:<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Leading testing team for software development project<\/span>Oversee the day-to-day operations, provide status updates, manage resource allocation effectively following a staffing plan, connect with ITPMs independently and client\u2019s stakeholder interaction for the Squad(s).<\/span>Coordinate with related departments\/stakeholders to unblock blockers (accounts, access\u2026)<\/span>Communicate directly with clients to gather requirements, provide project updates, and address any testing-related issues or concerns.<\/span>Collaborate closely with development and QA teams to understand project requirements and provide input on testability.<\/span>Perform all testing activities independently and effectively: test estimation, test planning, test strategy, test cases design, test execution, defects tracking, etc.<\/span>Understand automation frameworks, can maintain and use the automation framework to automate the new test cases<\/span>Collect data and report testing status<\/span>Show creativity and initiative to improve product test coverage and effectiveness<\/span>Works with offshore team to communicate findings and coordinates bug resolution<\/span>Contributes to the QA processes by providing the team with recommendations related to QA deliverables and actively participates in process improvements<\/span>Mentors and trains other team members<\/span>Requirements<\/b><\/span>Job Requirements<\/b><\/span>Willingness and ability to travel to Malaysia frequently for on-site work and client engagements<\/span>At least an intermediate skill level of English<\/span>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact directly with clients and internal teams.<\/span>Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving skills and attention to detail<\/span>Likely having 7+ years of experience in the software development, especially the software testing processes<\/span>Able to self-learn and quickly adapt to new technologies<\/span>Familiar with the Agile development methodologies<\/span>Able to perform tasks under high pressure<\/span>Experience with managing testing team & working with global clients<\/span>Experience with defining\/tailoring software testing process which can jointly be applied for the testing team & client\u2019s teams<\/span>Technical skills:<\/b><\/span>Strong Banking domain knowledge on web\/ mobile app testing expertise<\/span>Strong experiences on manual testing (requirement analysis, test strategy, test approach, test plan, test techniques included black box, risk-based, exploratory, Non-UI testing (DB testing, Backward compatibility\u2026), A\/B testing, etc.)<\/span>Experience on Functional testing, API testing<\/span>Experience on using tools: Jira, Postman\/Newman.
