The Group has also established an MRO (Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul) facility in Gurugram to provide comprehensive avionics maintenance and repair services to Indian airlines and support the growth of the local aviation industry.<\/span>We are seeking a highly skilled and driven Senior Technical Lead (Golang) who is passionate about building high-performance, cloud-native systems. In this role, you will architect and develop intelligent, scalable, and efficient API security solutions capable of running in diverse environments\u2014cloud, hybrid, or on-premises.<\/span>As part of Thales CPL\u2019s API Security team, you will lead the design and development of advanced components that help customers detect and remediate threats and vulnerabilities within their API ecosystems across both north-south and east-west traffic flows.<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Architect, design, and develop highly scalable, performant Go services for API security, traffic analysis, and distributed detection engines.<\/span>Lead the development of high-throughput data-processing pipelines for analyzing API payloads, metadata, and behavioral patterns.<\/span>Design and implement rule engines and filtering frameworks to identify, classify, and mitigate malicious API traffic.<\/span>Drive engineering best practices: code reviews, technical documentation, design proposals, and continuous improvement of software processes.<\/span>Mentor and guide engineers on system design, Go development patterns, performance optimization, and cloud-native practices.<\/span>Debug complex distributed-system issues encountered during development, integration, and customer deployments.<\/span>Collaborate with cross-functional teams (security researchers, product managers, platform engineers) to define requirements and ensure high-quality delivery.<\/span>Qualifications<\/b><\/span>7\u201310 years of hands-on engineering experience spanning distributed systems, performance optimization, and cloud-native architectures.<\/span>5+ years of hands-on Go development experience, including building high-performance, concurrent, production-grade services.<\/span>Proven experience designing and optimizing distributed systems, microservices, or event-driven architectures.<\/span>Strong understanding of networking concepts and application-layer protocols, including HTTP\/2, gRPC, TLS, and API gateway patterns.<\/span>Experience with performance profiling, benchmarking, and tuning Go applications (CPU, memory, concurrency, lock contention).<\/span>Solid foundation in concurrency models (goroutines, channels), multi-core performance, and systems-level architecture.<\/span>Experience building large-scale or latency-sensitive systems (e.g., proxies, load balancers, traffic analyzers, or security platforms).<\/span>Good understanding of API security, threat detection strategies, and secure coding practices.<\/span>Familiarity with Python is a plus<\/span>At Thales, we\u2019re committed to fostering a workplace where respect, trust, collaboration, and passion drive everything we do.
