Oracle Developer &#8211; New Mowasat Hospital"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>23 July, 2024 Full time<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>DUTIES &#038; RESPONSIBILITIES<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develops\/modifies approved new\/current HMIS modules with the aim of solving business problems or automating business processes to improve controls and operational efficiency.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the development of interfaces between HMIS and ERP and provides on-going support.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates with Team Lead and IT manager to resolve issues related to oracle HMIS systems and provides support for HMIS.<\/li>\n<li>Analyzes user requests for changes or enhancement to existing software, proposes architecture and design solutions for discussion with Manager-IT<\/li>\n<li>Maintains accurate quality control documentation and prepares project progress reports.<\/li>\n<li>Attends telephonic inquiries for assistance with the system. Diagnoses and trouble-shoots day-to-day problems faced by end users; analyzes and recommends \u2018fixes\u2019 to solve reported problems.<\/li>\n<li>Attends to end-users in person, as required, for identification of issues and provides solutions to minor problems in minimum possible time.<\/li>\n<li>Makes presentation or demonstrates software solutions to operational users.<\/li>\n<li>Provides training to end users in the usage of new, enhanced or modified software\/ systems.<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with users through various phases of design, development, implementation &#038; maintenance.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains daily work progress and time spent on various activities on the assigned project through project charter id.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains appropriate Helpdesk records, reports and files on the update and deletion of data.<\/li>\n<li>Participates in review and update of Policies and Procedures manuals.<\/li>\n<li>Attends departmental and committee meetings as required.<\/li>\n<li>Performs such other duties as may be assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>JOB REQUIREMENTS<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>EDUCATION: Bachelor\u2019s Degree\/Diploma in Computer Science \/ Programming or related field.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Software development certification in Oracle\/Java is desired.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>EXPERIENCE: Preferably 5 years\u2019 experience in IT with at least 4 years\u2019 experience in Oracle\/Java Developer environment.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>OTHER SKILLS:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Technical Skills: Knowledge of methodologies to record user requirements. Proficiency in technical documentation and software design skills. Understanding and knowledge of healthcare business and operations.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Administrative Skills: Good Analytical and Problem Solving skills; Ability to work under pressure and Attention to detail. Business Analysis and Requirement Gathering skills<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Soft Skills: Good communication and inter-personal skills. Computer Skills: Oracle Development Tools &#8211; Forms 6i and Reports 6i.
