Job Title: Safety Engineer<\/span>Reports to: Lead Safety Engineer<\/span>Key Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Observe Contractor’s proposed methods to ensure safety to the workforce, public and other third parties.<\/span>\u00b7 Monitoring the site safety arrangements of the Contractor, ensuring that all workers are in compliance with the safety rules and guidelines.<\/span>\u00b7 Assess the method statements submitted by the Contractor for safe systems of work; review Contractor\u2019s QHSE manual at the start of the project.<\/span>\u00b7 Issue safety violation instruction to the Contractor on any breach of safety.<\/span>\u00b7 Inspection of buildings and machines for hazards and safety violations.<\/span>\u00b7 To recommend safety features in new processes and products.<\/span>\u00b7 Report to the Resident Engineer for all safety and accident related issues for action.<\/span>\u00b7 Conduct safety training and special meetings\/seminars for employees to be aware of the different practices in the workplace.<\/span>\u00b7 Develop comprehensive safety programs at the office and site.
