Our Forest City, NC team is growing, and with that growth comes an exciting opportunity for someone looking to broaden their professional horizons by taking on new, and exciting challenges as our next Material Handler (L1)!<span class=\"br\"><\/span>If you are a results-oriented, team-player with a track record for providing top-tier customer service and possessing a &#8220;can-do&#8221; attitude and you find yourself excited for the possibility of expanding your role within the Company at this time &#8211; then we want to hear from you and how you might contribute to the further growth of the team within this role!<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>About the Role<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>How you will contribute<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work is performed in a traditional warehousing type environment and picking parts according to customer order and placing parts in work areas.<\/li>\n<li>Read customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or documents to determine items to be moved, gathered, distributed and\/or shipped.<\/li>\n<li>Moves items from bulk containers or racks, shelves, or in bins according to a predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the counting and accurate tracking of materials or items received or distributed. May also assist with the physical counting of inventory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Able to work required scheduled deemed necessary to meet the production goals and Key Performance Indicators of the site. Schedule may fluctuate based on the needs of the business. * Other duties as assigned.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Your Key Qualifications<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED<\/li>\n<li>Able to work with diverse group of people and be a team player.<\/li>\n<li>Flexible \u2013 able to work overtime or varying shifts as required to support the demands of the business.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Compensation<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>DP World offers exciting and challenging roles within a growing international organization.
