Your expertise will be instrumental in creating cutting-edge airport infrastructures that provide an exceptional travel experience for passengers and efficient operations for airport authorities.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Develop a comprehensive project plan, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.<\/li>\n<li>Define project objectives, scope, and goals in consultation with the client and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, codes, and standards for airport design and construction.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with architectural and engineering teams to review and approve design plans.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that airport facilities are designed for efficiency, safety, and passenger comfort.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor design changes and ensure they align with project objectives and budget constraints.<\/li>\n<li>Establish and manage the project budget, tracking expenses and forecasting costs.<\/li>\n<li>Identify cost-saving opportunities and suggest value engineering options.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare and review cost estimates for design changes and project variations.<\/li>\n<li>Develop and maintain a project schedule, ensuring that construction phases are sequenced appropriately.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor progress against the schedule and identify potential delays or issues.<\/li>\n<li>Implement strategies to keep the project on track and within the planned timeline.<\/li>\n<li>Implement quality control measures to ensure that construction and design meet specified standards.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with design documents and specifications.<\/li>\n<li>Address and resolve any quality issues that may arise during construction.<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential risks and challenges associated with the project.<\/li>\n<li>Develop risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and report on the status of identified risks throughout the project&#8217;s lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the selection of contractors and subcontractors.<\/li>\n<li>Review and evaluate construction contracts and change orders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all parties adhere to contractual obligations.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate effective communication between project teams, stakeholders, and clients.<\/li>\n<li>Provide regular project updates and reports to the client and relevant authorities.<\/li>\n<li>Address and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise among project stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the project complies with all local, state, and federal regulations and permits.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinate with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary approvals and permits.<\/li>\n<li>Promote sustainable and environmentally friendly design and construction practices.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.<\/li>\n<li>Oversee safety measures and protocols on the construction site.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with safety experts to develop and implement safety plans.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain detailed project documentation, including drawings, reports, and correspondence.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare regular progress reports and performance evaluations for the client.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate the project&#8217;s closeout process, including inspections, punch lists, and final approvals.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a smooth transition for the client by facilitating the handover of the completed airport facilities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Identify opportunities for process improvement and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Implement lessons learned from previous projects to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Suitable applicants will have\/be: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in architecture or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Professional licensure as an Architect is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 10 years of experience required.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience as an Architect on airport projects or large-scale infrastructure projects.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>How to apply:<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>All applications must be submitted online and for a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity, please contact Sarah Mousa<span class=\"br\"><\/span>At Surbana Jurong, we put talent, hard work, teamwork and a fun workplace together to approach problems and solve them creatively and collaboratively.
