Our focus is always on high quality, professionalism and clear, measurable results.<\/span>We are now seeking a Main Inspector (Huvudbesiktningsman) for one of our clients.<\/span>Assignment description\ufeff<\/b><\/span>Ensure that all contractual inspections are performed in compliance with AB\/ABT requirements.
\n Confirm that works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
\n Provide independent, impartial assessments of the condition and completeness of the works.
\n Document all inspection results and ensure proper follow-up until all deficiencies are rectified.<\/span>Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>The Main Inspector shall:<\/span>Be formally appointed by the Client as Huvudbesiktningsman.<\/span>Plan, coordinate, and perform inspections in accordance with AB 04 \/ ABT 06 and the project\u2019s inspection schedule.
\n Coordinate the works with the quality inspection team provided by PMC under the Client organization.
\n Lead inspection activities together with the Client, contractors, and any Sub-Inspectors.
\n Ensure all stakeholders are informed in due time of inspection plans and requirements.
\n Maintain independence and impartiality at all times.<\/span>Inspections Included<\/span>The scope includes, but is not limited to:<\/span>Pre-inspections (F\u00f6rbesiktning),
\n Final inspections (Slutbesiktning),
\n Follow-up inspections (Efterbesiktning),
\n Warranty inspections (Garantibesiktning),
\n Re-inspections (\u00c5terbesiktning).
\n Any partial or special inspections as required by the Client or contract.<\/span>Deliverables<\/b><\/span>The Main Inspector shall deliver:<\/span>Overall inspection plan and detailed plans if needed, including resource plan.
\n Formal inspection protocols (Besiktningsutl\u00e5tanden) in accordance with AB\/ABT requirements.
\n Deficiency lists and follow-up documentation until closure.
\n Final summary report upon project completion.<\/span>Qualifications \/ Experience \/ Skills<\/span>Proven experience as Huvudbesiktningsman for industrial or large-scale construction projects in Sweden.
\n Comprehensive knowledge of AB 04 \/ ABT 06 and Swedish construction law.
\n Necessary professional certification.
\n Technical background (civil, mechanical, electrical, or similar).
\n Strong communication skills in Swedish and English.
