You\u2019ll work across Native mobile platforms (iOS\/Android), applying your deep technical knowledge to identify, fix, and prevent accessibility issues.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You\u2019ll collaborate closely with designers, developers, and accessibility experts to ensure that every product Deque touches meets or exceeds accessibility standards and provides an inclusive experience for all.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>What You\u2019ll Do <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Implement remediation solutions for accessibility issues in codebases across mobile platforms (Kotlin\/Java , Jetpack Compose , Swift\/Objective-C, Swift UI, React Native, Flutter etc).<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with product, engineering, and QA teams to integrate digital accessibility best practices throughout the development lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Validate accessibility fixes and verify compliance with WCAG 2.1\/2.2, Section 508, and EN 301 549.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical mentorship, detailed guidance, and accessibility training to client developers and teams.<\/li>\n<li>Troubleshoot complex accessibility issues.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to internal accessibility documentation, automations, tools, reusable components, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Stay ahead of emerging accessibility standards, assistive technologies, and testing tools to continuously evolve our practices.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>What You Bring<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of hands-on experience in native-mobile development with a strong focus on accessibility.<\/li>\n<li>Deep understanding of WCAG 2.1\/2.2, and inclusive design principles.<\/li>\n<li>Proven experience in accessibility remediation, including complex UI components.<\/li>\n<li>Strong expertise in native mobile accessibility (iOS and Android) \u2014 including TalkBack, VoiceOver, Dynamic Type, and accessibility APIs.<\/li>\n<li>Experience performing automated &#038; manual audits using assistive technologies and tools such as axe DevTools, VoiceOver, TalkBack, and NVDA\/JAWS.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent communication skills.
