{"id":1588,"date":"2024-11-08T06:58:51","date_gmt":"2024-11-08T06:58:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/assistant-restaurant-manager-kitopi\/"},"modified":"2024-11-08T06:58:51","modified_gmt":"2024-11-08T06:58:51","slug":"assistant-restaurant-manager-kitopi","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.whitehattoolbox.com\/jobs\/assistant-restaurant-manager-kitopi\/","title":{"rendered":"Assistant Restaurant Manager &#8211; Kitopi"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>What You&#8217;ll Do<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assists the Store Manager in developing and formulating the store\u2019s annual business plan.<\/li>\n<li>Replaces the Store Manager during vacations and leaves, taking care of the store\u2019s overall activities.<\/li>\n<li>Covers for floor supervisors during emergency vacations and Ad-hoc leaves.<\/li>\n<li>Observes compliance with the company\u2019s policies and procedures, as well as, governmental laws and regulations.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises the opening &#038; closing of the store.<\/li>\n<li>Ensures the proper cleaning and lighting of all store internal and external areas.<\/li>\n<li>Supervises a daily-check up on the smooth performance of all store machinery and equipment.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains safe working conditions for employees and customers; resolves safety concerns quickly.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure the proper appearance (condition of uniforms) and grooming of assigned staff members.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in the implementation of manpower retention plans, and in communicating recruiting needs to the HR Department<\/li>\n<li>Coaches and trains employees in order to improve performance and to achieve the department\u2019s objectives, targets through On-the-job-training and daily meetings.<\/li>\n<li>Manages the Store staff working schedules.<\/li>\n<li>Establish rotation schedule of new employees and trainees.<\/li>\n<li>Motivates and develops staff, in order to encourage their professional development.<\/li>\n<li>Evaluates the performance of all Store employees ensuring that reviews are delivered to the HR Department on time.<\/li>\n<li>Suggests to Store Manager the proposed salary reviews, personnel actions, promotions and provides feedback to employees.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains discipline, recommends and administers corrective action through reports addressed to the HR Department through the Store Manager.<\/li>\n<li>Handles guest problems and complaints.<\/li>\n<li>Meets with guests on an informal basis during meals or upon departure to obtain feedback on quality of food and beverage, service levels and overall satisfaction.<\/li>\n<li>Maintains an efficient ordering system to ensure that all necessary store and office supplies are available as needed.<\/li>\n<li>Assists in executing physical inventories with the collaboration of the storekeeper.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Who Are We Looking For?<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>5+ years of relevant experience in operations and culinary management within Arabic or Oriental cuisine.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent knowledge of Food Legislation, Relevant Codes of Practice &#038; Quality Standards and Health &#038; Safety Legislation<\/li>\n<li>Restaurant and Kitchen Management experience.<\/li>\n<li>Strong background in a fast food and delivery environment<\/li>\n<li>Exceptional communication and organizational skills<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This job has been sourced from an external job board.<br \/>\n       More jobs on https:\/\/www.qureos.com\/<br \/><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.ae\/jobad\/ae3d2f62f5b10b72dc4da6c7d5727ea018?affid=0852fd5db5a52cbcd75bf945aa534932\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>What You&#8217;ll Do Assists the Store Manager in developing and formulating the store\u2019s annual business plan.
