The role is responsible for executing engineering design changes, supporting plant reliability initiatives, and managing assigned EIC projects from concept through implementation.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>The position covers the design, reliability, and maintainability of key plant systems including Distributed Control Systems (DCS), Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), Turbomachinery Controls (TMC), PLCs, Fire &#038; Gas systems (F&#038;G), field instrumentation, analyzers, and final control elements.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Position Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide technical expertise in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems to support safe and reliable plant operations.<\/li>\n<li>Lead and support EIC engineering activities including design modifications, technical studies, and reliability improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Manage EIC-related plant design changes in accordance with the Management of Change (MOC) process and applicable engineering standards.<\/li>\n<li>Develop engineering solutions, cost estimates, and technical documentation for system modifications and improvement projects.<\/li>\n<li>Support commissioning, testing, and start-up activities for implemented design changes.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor and improve control system performance by identifying vulnerabilities and resolving reliability issues.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct root cause analysis for equipment and system failures and implement corrective actions.<\/li>\n<li>Support preventive and predictive maintenance strategies for control systems and instrumentation assets.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams to ensure effective execution of EIC activities.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate engineering documentation and ensure systems comply with safety, Process Safety Management (PSM), and Responsible Care requirements.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate strong safety leadership and commitment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Position Qualifications<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>-Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Electronics, or Communications Engineering, or equivalent.<br \/>\n       -Functional Safety certification preferred (e.g., CFSP, ISA 84, or T\u00dcV).<br \/>\n       -Minimum 10 years of experience in Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control Systems within petrochemical, refinery, or oil &#038; gas industries.<br \/>\n       -Strong knowledge of Distributed Control Systems (DCS) and Safety Instrumented Systems (SIS), preferably Invensys\/Foxboro DCS and Triconex systems.<br \/>\n       -Proven experience in the design, implementation, and maintenance of industrial control systems.<br \/>\n       -Good working knowledge of field instrumentation, analyzers, final control elements, machinery protection systems, and electrical systems.<br \/>\n       -Basic knowledge of reliability engineering principles.<br \/>\n       -Experience with Fire &#038; Gas (F&#038;G) protection systems.<br \/>\n       -Experience in control valve selection and sizing.<br \/>\n       -Familiarity with DCS cybersecurity and plant IT systems (e.g., PI, Maximo).<br \/>\n       -Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and CMMS systems.<br \/>\n       -Strong collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills.<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/jobviewtrack.com\/v2\/7Tpk62uIKHVTgBTanXhKvu5i3exaD6-tD7tLFwewGjZJ3KzJCC9KmVU26X1JMq5VeSLHNKgvDC_UqTcOhgInO6wDDEGsbnFOwrKCwFFXKs4STkWUua4DSignx-m8Wudfak5YzZNkvnQ2rrB_ZhTL8Ujxl4BJ_XmnKWiqfIhpq5IoGJTBXJJJ21JCcDJsu3HArbdqDieI6gaDukVX9_Ws4w?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior EIC Engineer Date Posted: March 9, 2026 Closing Date: April 3, 2026 Reports To: Superintendent, Control System and EIC Engineering Location: Damietta Duration: Full-time Position Summary The Senior Electrical, Instrumentation, and Control (EIC) Engineer provides technical leadership to ensure the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant control systems and instrumentation assets.
