We achieve this primarily through APIs and event streaming, making data and functionality accessible where it&#8217;s needed most.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>As a Software Consultant at ASB, you&#8217;ll play a pivotal role in shaping and delivering complex software solutions across our platforms. This is a senior individual contributor role (Level 4) that blends deep technical expertise with solution architecture, platform ownership, and cross-squad collaboration.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>You will:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Work closely with engineers, product owners, and architects to design scalable, secure, and reliable systems<\/li>\n<li>Build SDKs, maintain event brokers, and mentor engineers<\/li>\n<li>Directly influence the quality and resilience of our technology stack<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> This role is ideal for someone who thrives on solving complex problems, enjoys coaching others, and wants to drive technical excellence-without formal people leadership responsibilities.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>\u014c P\u016bkenga | About you<span class=\"br\"><\/span>You&#8217;ll bring a strong mix of technical skills and a proactive, curious mindset. To thrive in this role, you&#8217;ll have: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Solid experience with C# .NET and API development<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with version control tools (TFS, Azure DevOps, or similar)<\/li>\n<li>DevOps experience, especially with build and deployment pipelines<\/li>\n<li>Exposure to observability toolsets (e.g., Elastic Observability or similar)<\/li>\n<li>A reputation as a solid all-rounder, comfortable with operational work (deployments, releases, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with platforms, or a strong understanding of platform engineering<\/li>\n<li>Willingness to learn, with an interested, curious, and problem-solving approach<\/li>\n<li>Ability to work independently and provide on-call support when needed<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Bonus points for:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Experience with GitHub Enterprise<\/li>\n<li>SQL scripting skills<\/li>\n<li>Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks (React, or similar like Vue or Angular)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Te mahi ki ASB | Working for ASB<span class=\"br\"><\/span>ASB&#8217;s sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
