This is not a single-site delivery role; it is a governance and assurance position focused on driving consistent standards, verifying implementation through audits, and ensuring actions are closed effectively. The role partners with site teams, package leads, subcontractors and commissioning stakeholders to reduce rework, protect safety and quality, and deliver audit-ready evidence for handover.<\/span>Scope<\/b><\/span>Applies to all electrical systems, inspections and evidence across the portfolio<\/span>Set and maintain QA governance: audit programme, standards, templates, acceptance criteria and evidence rules<\/span>Assurance focus: verify site teams are executing QA\/QC correctly; intervene early where drift or repeat issues appear<\/span>Closeout focus: ensure audit findings and NCRs are converted into actions, owners, dates, and verified closeout<\/span>Key Electrical Experience<\/span>Containment\/cable management, terminations, torque records, labelling\/identification and segregation compliance<\/span>Earthing\/bonding continuity, insulation resistance testing, functional checks and test pack completeness<\/span>Switchgear\/UPS\/generator interfaces: QA readiness, vendor documentation, FAT\/SAT evidence control<\/span>LOTO \/ energisation governance interface (quality evidence, safe records, and traceable approvals).<\/span>Key Accountabilities<\/b><\/span>Own the portfolio audit plan for the discipline: schedule, risk-based targeting, and minimum cadence per project<\/span>Perform regular site audits and surveillance (planned and unannounced where appropriate)<\/span>Coach site QA\/QC and package teams on standards, evidence expectations, and first-time-right behaviours.<\/span>Identify repeat defects and systemic failures; drive root cause and preventive actions across projects (not just fixes).<\/span>Escalate high-risk non-conformities early; recommend stop-work triggers for critical quality\/safety breaches per governance protocol.<\/span>Verify test packs and handover packs meet contract requirements and are audit-ready in ACC\/BIM 360.<\/span>Interface with Commissioning\/Client QA where required to align expectations on evidence and readiness gates.<\/span>Improved first-pass inspection\/test acceptance rate; measurable reduction in rework.<\/span>Handover packs accepted with minimal churn; evidence completeness and traceability maintained in ACC\/BIM 360.<\/span>Core Responsibilities<\/b><\/span>Run weekly\/fortnightly quality calls with each site: audit status, action closure, NCRs, constraints, and upcoming hold points<\/span>Review QA\/QC audit evidence submitted by site teams; challenge weak closeouts and require objective verification<\/span>Spot-check field installation quality against drawings\/specs and workmanship standards; document findings and corrective actions<\/span>Review and sample test records\/calibration certificates; verify traceability and compliance<\/span>Support sites with difficult closeouts (e.g., access restrictions, design clarifications, vendor gaps) and unblock escalations<\/span>Standardise \u2018what good looks like\u2019 across projects: checklists, photo standards, test pack structure, naming conventions, and gate criteria<\/span>Facilitate lessons-learned reviews and publish bulletins to prevent recurrence across the portfolio<\/span>Required Skills & Experience<\/b><\/span>Strong electrical technical background with mission-critical\/data centre experience is highly desirable<\/span>Audit capability: can inspect, sample, document, and defend findings with clear standards and evidence<\/span>Governance mindset: standardisation, trend analysis, and prevention of recurrence across multiple sites.<\/span>Strong communication: can challenge constructively, align stakeholders, and drive accountability to closure.<\/span>Comfortable with digital evidence workflows (ACC\/BIM 360) and disciplined action tracking.<\/span>Degree\/trade background in Electrical Engineering \/ Building Services (or equivalent).<\/span>5+ years in data centres\/mission-critical delivery or QA\/QC, with multi-site exposure preferred.<\/span>Demonstrated experience running audits, closing actions, and driving systemic corrective\/preventive actions.<\/span>Working knowledge of relevant standards and statutory requirements; understanding of commissioning readiness gates.<\/p>\n
