ASB provides General and Life Insurance, with insurance partners underwriting General Insurance and Life Insurance. Our responsibility is to support insurance partners in keeping their systems operating efficiently.<\/span>We handle core insurance data and work closely with our insurance partners to deliver integrated technology solutions.<\/span>About the role:<\/b><\/span>We are looking for an individual that will take ownership of our quality, drive continuous change for the squad and customers to ensure we are delivering best possible outcomes. You will work collaboratively with our squads and stakeholders to be the voice of Testing and deliver products that delight our customers. We are looking for someone who has:<\/span>\u00b7 10+ years of software test engineering experience<\/span>\u00b7 Proven experience with strong hands-on capability in both manual and automated testing<\/span>\u00b7 Strong understanding of end-to-end testing across web applications, APIs, integrations and data layers (where applicable)<\/span>\u00b7 Experience implementing agile testing practices within cross-functional squads, contributing throughout the full SDLC<\/span>\u00b7 Develop \/ maintain test automation framework for Web, Desktop & APIs<\/span>\u00b7 Desktop, Web and API Test automation experience with C# (or any programming\/scripting language)<\/span>\u00b7 Comfortable mentoring and guiding other testers or engineers, promoting testing standards and best practices<\/span>\u00b7 Financial\/Banking\/Insurance domain experience<\/span>\u00b7 API testing experience using Postman or similar tool<\/span>\u00b7 Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases<\/span>\u00b7 Good understanding and experience of working using Agile principles<\/span>\u00b7 Excellent communication skills, able to collaborate effectively with developers, analysts, product owners and stakeholders<\/span>In addition, any of the following would be an advantage:<\/span>\u00b7 Working knowledge of performance testing preferably Load Runner<\/span>\u00b7 Complex enterprise systems experience<\/span>\u00b7 Experience with insurance applications<\/span>\u00b7 Certified in ISTQB Fundamentals or relevant cert<\/span>\u00b7 Experience working in incident management environment<\/span>Working at ASB:<\/span>ASB’s sense of who we are and what we stand for is grounded in our values.
