This role is designed for an experienced treasury professional who will lead financial risk management activities and strengthen overall financial governance within the organisation. The position is based in Qatar and focuses on supporting the finance function through expert risk assessment, advisory, and process optimisation.<\/span>Client Details<\/b><\/span>Our client is a major organisation within the energy and resources sector, operating large scale, high-value assets and complex financial structures. They are known for their global footprint, long-term commercial partnerships and commitment to maintaining strong financial resilience through robust governance and risk management frameworks.<\/span>Description<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Establish, enhance and implement policies, systems and procedures designed to mitigate financial risk across the organisation.<\/span>\u00b7 Drive the application of advanced financial risk assessment tools and methodologies to identify and mitigate exposure.<\/span>\u00b7 Recommend and validate financial risk management strategies in line with internal policies and industry best practices.<\/span>\u00b7 Provide expert guidance on the overall impact of risk mitigation strategies and escalate areas of concern to senior leadership.<\/span>\u00b7 Continuously evaluate, upgrade and optimise tools used to manage and monitor financial risks.<\/span>\u00b7 Offer technical expertise on financial risk matters related to banks, customers and suppliers.<\/span>\u00b7 Prepare complex financial reports, insights and presentations for management and other key stakeholders.<\/span>\u00b7 Advise on financial policies and procedures, offering technical interpretation and guidance to senior management.<\/span>\u00b7 Support and advise on the administration of financial securities.<\/span>\u00b7 Lead the identification and implementation of improvements across processes, procedures and associated controls.<\/span>\u00b7 Manage and resolve complex issues that arise within treasury, financial governance or risk management operations.<\/span>Profile<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Bachelor’s degree in any discipline paired with a recognised professional accounting or finance qualification (CFA, CPA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CMA).<\/span>\u00b7 Minimum of 7 years of experience in a treasury or finance-related environment.<\/span>\u00b7 Strong understanding of accounting systems.<\/span>\u00b7 Advanced financial and risk management knowledge within the relevant area of specialisation.<\/span>Job Offer<\/b><\/span>\u00b7 Opportunity to work with a leading organisation in the energy and resources sector.<\/span>\u00b7 Influence financial risk strategy and play a key role in safeguarding business resilience.<\/span>\u00b7 Exposure to complex financial environments and senior-level stakeholders.<\/span>\u00b7 A role that encourages continuous improvement, innovation and professional development.<\/p>\n
