The selected candidate will be responsible for reviewing design submissions, ensuring compliance with project requirements, standards, and regulations, and providing expert advice on necessary modifications to optimize project delivery.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess and review civil engineering design plans, drawings, and specifications submitted by external consultants or contractors.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that all design documents meet project objectives, local and international codes, standards, and best practices.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend necessary design modifications or improvements to optimize functionality, safety, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with other engineering disciplines (structural, mechanical, electrical, etc.) to ensure design coherence and resolve any conflicts.<\/li>\n<li>Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, contractors, and stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure designs consider constructability, feasibility, and cost optimization while maintaining quality and project integrity.<\/li>\n<li>Identify potential risks related to the civil design and propose mitigation strategies.<\/li>\n<li>Review and verify design documents, calculations, and reports before final approval.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct site visits as required to ensure that designs are being implemented as planned and provide on-site guidance where necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare regular reports and presentations on design progress, challenges, and proposed modifications for senior management and stakeholders.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Essential Requirements:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor\u2019s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum 8 years of experience in civil design, with at least 5 years in a PMC environment reviewing designs.<\/li>\n<li>Professional Engineer (PE) license or equivalent is preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced knowledge of design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant civil engineering tools.<\/li>\n<li>Strong understanding of local and international building codes, design standards, and regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.com.sa\/jobad\/sa605b1972f2a38560daf3a9ec937b2510?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Design Engineer to join our Project Management Consultancy (PMC) team.
