ISS International Spa is looking for a Piping and Layout Engineer with offshore experience in Doha, Qatar.<\/span>Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>Support Bidding phase \/ Commercial proposal development on: Bill of material, Plot plan lay out proposal and define man hour and cost estimate<\/span>Ensure the Piping and Layout engineering support to different projects<\/span>Analyze technical documents (eg specifications, calculation notes, drawings) to assess the scope of the studies required and the potential risks<\/span>Estimate quantities or validate estimation done by other specialists of the team<\/span>Check all produced documents (internal or subcontracted) like design reports, technical specifications, drawings under responsibility<\/span>Write the Piping and Layout methodologies \/ Design Premises comprehensive of all necessary data, general and specific design guidelines<\/span>Monitor and report actual progress including 3D \/ check for Discipline activities, including control of men-hours and delivered documents<\/span>Provide technical support to Procurement, Subcontracting and Construction activities included in the scope of work<\/span>Inform on a permanent basis the Project Piping and Layout leader of any foreseen technical or financial or delay risk<\/span>Other Details:<\/b><\/span>Location – Doha<\/span>Duration – 6 months with possibility of extension<\/span>ISS International SpA, founded in 2004 in Rome, Italy, is a leading engineering service provider specializing in Integrated Service Solutions for the Energy and Oil & Gas sectors.
