They clean teeth, correct bite issues, perform surgeries and extractions, and perform other duties to ensure that the teeth and mouth are healthy.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Accountabilities<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Clinical Tasks: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assess dental patients and document findings.<\/li>\n<li>Designs and executes the patient&#8217;s dental care plan.<\/li>\n<li>Educates patients on their health condition, investigations required, treatment options and medication use.<\/li>\n<li>Educates patients on dental hygiene.<\/li>\n<li>Orders and reviews result of patients&#8217; investigations.<\/li>\n<li>Prescribe medications for patients.<\/li>\n<li>Performs dental procedures as outlined in dental privileging.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> The employee&#8217;s duties are not limited to the above-mentioned accountabilities.
