The Center supports sponsored students and manages all formats of partnerships with local and international employers.<span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Duties and Responsibilities<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead, manage and supervise the key functions of the Career Center for both Abu Dhabi and Sharjah campuses to include but not be limited to: student sponsorships, internships, graduate placement, Scholarship Office, and summer or temporary employment of the students.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate and provide the career development needs of Khalifa university students at different stages of their academic careers at Khalifa University. Included, but not limited to: major choices, career choices, interview techniques, work-environment preparations, resume writing, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Collect, report,analyze and act upon Career Center data and advise other university leaders as appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Solicit, develop and build strong relationship with prospective employers and key Khalifa university personnel and host current and prospective employers on campus.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure career services are extended to all students regardless of campus or academic level.<\/li>\n<li>Lead efforts to create and implement marketing plans and programs for the Career Center.<\/li>\n<li>Facilitate Khalifa university&#8217;s participation in career exhibitions or other activities and events.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that signed agreements &#038; MOUs are implemented where appropriate.<\/li>\n<li>Extend the employment opportunities to Khalifa University graduates and alumni..<\/li>\n<li>Explore joint sponsorship of events and students&#8217; projects with employers and advise the university leadership accordingly.<\/li>\n<li>Explore training opportunities from specialized employers both inside the country and abroad.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, propose and manage the annual budget for the Career Center and its sub-divisions and functions.<\/li>\n<li>Manage all aspects of the sponsored student program that are assigned to the Career Center.<\/li>\n<li>Support and facilitate employer&#8217;s nationalization plans.<\/li>\n<li>Other additional duties as assigned.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Technical Skills Required<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Career services certifications are preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.ae\/jobad\/ae5990610053ba8d6508ae6b25ff0c8b43?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Summary The Career Center is responsible for guiding students towards appropriate choices of majors, providing career development guidance, internship placements; and full-time and part-time employment opportunities for students and prospective graduates.
