The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales and ensuring the achievement of business goals through effective team management and strategic planning.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Designation: Area Sales Manager<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Reports to: Regional Sales Manager &#038; Business Head<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Location: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, KolkataMain responsibilities: <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ensure achievement of primary &#038; secondary sales targets through dealers and distributors.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure that the current outlet base is serviced optimally in terms of no. of visits in a month and presentation of sample kits &#8211; track and monitor the same.<\/li>\n<li>Ramp up availability of secondary brands by benchmarking with current distribution of primary brands &#038; competitor brands.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure a healthy mix across different categories of the business from the state.<\/li>\n<li>Plan and organize sales events and road shows in the state to drive order booking.<\/li>\n<li>Expansion of distribution to New Outlets and New towns (very important).<\/li>\n<li>Strengthen Business presence and relationship with all key dealers in the state.<\/li>\n<li>Recommend trade and market development plans in the state like setting up Priority stores, Exclusive brand outlets, etc., to create the best brand experience for shoppers in the market.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Best in Class execution of brand activation plans in the market through the team of TSO\/ TSMs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure proper implementation of company schemes and promotional spends in the market through the team of TSOs\/ TSMs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure good commercial and business hygiene with trade partners &#8211; maintaining a healthy inventory, avoid ageing of stocks, address warranty returns, etc.<\/li>\n<li>Monitor distributor ROI on a regular basis.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure Collections of payments from Distributors and Direct dealers as per timelines to avoid outstanding dues and bad debts.<\/li>\n<li>Continuously monitor and evaluate Distributor performance and take corrective actions through TSOs\/ TSMs.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure customer complaints are resolved in a timely manner.<\/li>\n<li>Coaching and Development of TSOs and TSMs.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p> Handsome compensation and great cultureOpportunity to work in a European MNC with strong growth trajectory<span class=\"br\"><\/span>Post-graduation in Management from a Premier B-School (Tier I or Tier II) in India with e a good mix of sales and marketing experience post MBA.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>European MNC with large presence in Retail<span class=\"br\"><\/span>35 &#8211; 40 LPA<\/p>\n<p><center><b><a rel=\"nofollow noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.careerjet.co.in\/jobad\/in09beda91246b71a64dfad2eacdf1ba59?affid=1e18623d919a855447a16dd0557b1bec\" class=\"button purchase\" target=\"_blank\">Apply Now<\/a> <\/b><\/center><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to lead and manage sales operations within the retail optical industry.
