\n \uf0b7 Location: Bengaluru India Technical Center<\/span>Job Purpose:<\/b><\/span>\uf0b7 As an experienced Hardware Test engineer, you will be involved in the verification and qualification of Power Electronics Hardware for High voltage Electronic Turbochargers and Electronic Boosters \uf0b7 Will be part of a multi-cultural, multi-disciplined product development and testing teams working on projects involving multiple locations.<\/span>Key Responsibilities:<\/b><\/span>\uf0b7 Review the technical requirements of the Electronics Hardware assembly and estimate the effort involved for Hardware testing and align the same with the Lead and stakeholders.<\/span>\uf0b7 Performing circuit design analysis, and testing\/validation of Hardware circuits for functionality and performance under varying conditions, create the test cases based on the Hardware requirements\/Circuit design and execute the same on the board in the test bench.<\/span>\uf0b7 Execute testing & debugging of complex power electronics, PCB level testing and diagnose circuit board failures in a high voltage or low voltage environment based on the scope of test.<\/span>\uf0b7 Documentation of test results within the V-process \/ Automotive SPICE framework<\/span>\uf0b7 Perform peer reviews of test specification and test reports.<\/span>\uf0b7 Troubleshooting failures during tests, perform cause analysis, and provide reports to key stakeholders and cross functional teams.<\/span>\uf0b7 Setting up and maintaining project-specific test benches including Hardware equipment test tools and electronic components required.<\/span>Work Experience\/Skills:<\/span>\uf0b7 Exemplary experience and knowledge in the verification of Power Electronics Hardware in the automotive sector.<\/span>\uf0b7 Very good knowledge in power-electronic theories, circuit design, and measurement techniques. Experience with testing of mixed signals electronics designs, power switching circuits in Automotive Embedded Power Electronics Hardware.<\/span>\uf0b7 Hands-on experience in testing & debugging complex power electronics, PCB level testing and diagnosis of circuit board failures. Strong abilities to Interpret schematics\/requirements\/data sheets, comprehend PCB layout of inverter stages, transceivers, microcontrollers, power modules (with IGBT, MOSFET etc), Pre-drivers etc. and interpret the design calculations and applying various testing methodologies.<\/span>\uf0b7 Strong knowledge of Electronics testing tools such as Function\/ signal generators, Oscilloscope, Climate chamber, power supplies. Familiarity with Altium and Simulation tools with be desirable.<\/span>\uf0b7 Good Experience working in a High Voltage lab environment & handling high voltage instruments, board testing, board bring up, DUTs in climatic chamber & know-how of using Vector CAN tools like CANape, CANOe will be advantage.<\/span>\uf0b7 Good knowledge of converter\/inverter topologies (AC-DC, DC-DC, motor controls).<\/span>\uf0b7 Very good working Knowledge on requirement, change & defect management tools like Polarion, JIRA, Knowledge of accompanying quality assurance measures (reviews, Automotive SPICE, …)<\/span>\uf0b7 Familiarity with compliance and safety standards (like IEC, AIS, ISO)<\/span>\uf0b7 Possesses sharp analytical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and meticulous attention, Good verbal and written communication skills.<\/span>Internal Use Only: Salary<\/span>Global Terms of Use and Privacy Statement<\/span>Carefully read the BorgWarner Privacy Policy before using this website.
