Company Description<\/b><\/span>Since launching in Kuwait in 2004, talabat, the leading on-demand food and Q-commerce app for everyday deliveries, has been offering convenience and reliability to its customers. talabat’s local roots run deep, offering a real understanding of the needs of the communities we serve in eight countries across the region.<\/span>We harness innovative technology and knowledge to simplify everyday life for our customers, optimize operations for our restaurants and local shops, and provide our riders with reliable earning opportunities daily.<\/span>At talabat, we foster an innovative environment where our talabaty employees can strive to create a positive impact across the region through the use of our platform.<\/span>Job Description<\/b><\/span>A Team Lead Rider will assist the Rider Supervisor in the performance of riders, managing the assigned outsourced companies, and supervising Rider Coordinators.<\/span>What’s On Your Plate?<\/span>Monitor and improve Rider Performance and Compliance<\/span>Manage rider roster with proper allocation of shifts\/breaks\/off-days etc<\/span>Setting up a performance improvement plan to improve the performance of low-performing riders<\/span>Monitor riders’ performance on an individual level and be responsible for coaching\/warning riders<\/span>Prepare a late login list and share it with all 3PLs<\/span>Meet with 3PL Supervisors<\/span>Monthly zone meeting with 3PLs to discuss performance and updates<\/span>Supervise the Coordinators that assist dispatchers over communication channels related to riders<\/span>Ensure compliance with rider equipment.<\/span>Develop the team in coordination with regional rules<\/span>Support the team through all processes in achieving talabat goal<\/span>Handle Rider Supervisors’ duties in their absence<\/span>What Did We Order?<\/span>Bachelor’s Degree graduate<\/span>2-3 years of experience in the food\/grocery tech industry is highly preferred<\/span>Proficient in Google Suite tools: GDoc, GSheet, GSlides, GForms, etc<\/span>Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Fluency in Arabic and English languages is required<\/span>Influencing and negotiation skills: good public speaking and presentation skills<\/span>People management skills: experience in managing a large group of people<\/span>Stakeholder management skills: experience in dealing with cross-cultural team members and cross-functional teams<\/span>Ability to analyze data and derive insights from comprehensive data reports<\/span>Ability to deal with ambiguity, work under pressure, handle stress
