Connecticut"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><b>POSITION SUMMARY<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span>Leads execution of Supplier Rescue Projects, developing the project scope and phases, setting up the project team and reporting progress and results to top management.<span class=\"br\"><\/span>JOB RESPONSIBLITIES <\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lead a cross-functional team to bring resolution for a specific supplier crisis by identifying and addressing performance issues aiming to minimize disruption in the supply chain.<\/li>\n<li>Lead development and execution of a supplier recovery plan, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure that the results from each project will be on the right schedule, budget and quality<\/li>\n<li>Strengthens relationship, promotes integration, enhances communication and mediates conflicts between supplier&#8217;s and Embraer&#8217;s teams to address issues and drive mutual success.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates the KPO (PMO) and multi-disciplinary project teams, both internal and external, on finding the best solution to the different problems<\/li>\n<li>Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and deliverables, monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs), and implementing improvement initiatives and needed.<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates, presents and guarantees targets achievements for upper management meetings, both internal at Embraer and at the Supplier<\/li>\n<li>To initiate and lead continuous improvement activities, incorporating Lean and P3E processes.<\/li>\n<li>Audits methods\/efficiency of suppliers&#8217; management of their sub-tiers abilities to guarantee production flow and deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Visits supplier&#8217;s sub-tiers to help address their issues when deemed necessary.<\/li>\n<li>Interacts with Supplier&#8217;s and Embraer&#8217;s teams to coordinate and follow up on the: investigation of technical issues, identification of appropriate solutions, and ensuring quality in the delivery process to Embraer and its customers.<\/li>\n<li>Follows up on raw materials, components and spare parts production process and delivery, based on schedules provided by suppliers, verifying and evaluating services regarding vendor&#8217;s ability to deliver ordered quantities on schedule time and agreed quality level.<\/li>\n<li>Oversees material movements throughout manufacturing and inventory sequences.<\/li>\n<li>Audits materials and analyzes\/evaluates quality of area services, as well as contract clauses and late deliveries.<\/li>\n<li>Provides regular written and verbal reports on observations, findings and action plans agreed with suppliers as well as on plans implementation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES<\/b><span class=\"br\"><\/span><b>Education:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in engineering, supply chain management, business administration or equivalent degree and experience.<\/li>\n<li>Master&#8217;s degree preferred.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Experience:<\/b><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A minimum of 5 years of experience in supply chain, procurement, or engineering.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><b>Knowledge, Skills &#038;
